Nice job man  but still gminer winning

189-191 sols, 515W-  miniZ
194-201 sols, 505W- gminer

6xGTX 1060 6gb Asus Strix

65% power limit
185 core
-520 memory

144,5 needs + mem not -

nope all cards required personal options, i didnt see difference with -520 and +100-700

Hi reclu, thanks for reporting your values for the 1060 6Gb.

We only have a 1060 3GB, so our values can differ a little.
However, it has been reported widely on the web that the 1060 6GB can perform 5-15% better than the 1060 3Gb.

If we limit power to 90 W, and OC settings to +220 core, +1000 mem, we can get ~31.6 Sol/s @ 85 W (=505/6 W) out of our 1060 3Gb.
Assuming that the 1060 GB performs 10% better this means that 31.6*1.1= ~34.8 Sol/s, or ~208.6 Sol/S for 6 1060 6Gb GPUs.

You may want to give these values a try. You can also try other values as the ones we have on our website https://miniz.ch/features/ (these may change as we keep testing the miner).

Cheers.

Now 12 GPU work fine!!!
Please add --nocolor option or use
Code:
export SYSLOG=1
Order right now, i have line in sh
Code:
export CUDA_DEVICE_ORDER=PCI_BUS_ID

Hi topteam,

Great that it works!

Good that you found a solution for PCI bus order.

Regarding the --nocolor option, it will be added in the next version.

Cheers.

I think 1.0g propels miniz into 1st place. but its unstable for me at certain power levels. still currently more efficient than gminer. unfortunately the mrkt is sh*t

Hi fistsofgod,

Thanks for the nice words. We are working in order to improve stability.

Cheers.

Hi dillony,
on Windows to use all memory of your GPUs you must increase the page file to have ~32GB. For miniZ it may work with 24 GB, but if you have enough space go with at least 32 GB.
Cheers.

I am using 14 1070s in my rig and my pagefile is over 80gigs and I still get out of memory error when i try to run all 14 in one instance of the miner. if I split them between 2 instances, I get no error

Nice job man  but still gminer winning

189-191 sols, 515W-  miniZ
194-201 sols, 505W- gminer

6xGTX 1060 6gb Asus Strix

65% power limit
185 core
-520 memory

144,5 needs + mem not -

nope all cards required personal options, i didnt see difference with -520 and +100-700

Hi reclu, thanks for reporting your values for the 1060 6Gb.

We only have a 1060 3GB, so our values can differ a little.
However, it has been reported widely on the web that the 1060 6GB can perform 5-15% better than the 1060 3Gb.

If we limit power to 90 W, and OC settings to +220 core, +1000 mem, we can get ~31.6 Sol/s @ 85 W (=505/6 W) out of our 1060 3Gb.

You may want to give these values a try. You can also try other values as the ones we have on our website https://miniz.ch/features/ (these may change as we keep testing the miner).

Cheers.

220 core is impossible on my 1060 6gb, max stable value is 185.
At this moment i got 0.44-0.45 sols/W on gminer, 74W per card, 90W its to much for me.
Thanks for answer. Don`t stop development your miner, like others Smiley

Good to know! Thanks for reporting.

Hi reciu, just to make sure, you reported for that other miner ~198 @ 505W right? With these values we get 198/505 = 0.39 Sol/W s  (505/6 = 84W not 74W)
We'll look at this and try to improve efficiency for the 1060 6Gb. Thanks! Smiley

you should lower power and increase efficiency. will also increase your profits, especially in this market, unless your electricity is free.

Hi fistsofgod, we added cuda_error.log file that will log cuda fatal errors. Maybe this will help to diagnose the problem.

Please add pool ping

Hi dgeo, this has been added in the latest version, v1.0h.

Hello, on one of my rigs miner crashes with error:

0:error:1409F07F:SSL routines:ssl3_write_pending:bad write retry:..\..\openssl-1.1.0f\ssl\record\rec_layer_s3.c:902:

How can i fix this?

Hi aklakl, we made the ssl functions more robust and this may be able to deal with that error. If the problem persists we'll need more information (OS, mining pool address and port number, and error occurrence frequency).

Thank you all!
Cheers

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your feedback!

There is a new miniZ miner version v1.0h!

Current Sols/s:
  * GTX 1050 2GB ~17-19 Sol/s
  * GTX 1050Ti 4GB ~19-21 Sol/s
  * GTX 1060 3GB ~33-36 Sol/s
  * GTX 1070Ti 8GB ~60-67 Sol/s
  * GTX 1080 8GB ~61-67 Sol/s

Like the previous version, we added support for RTX 20xx GPUs (alpha stage). If you happen to try miniZ on these GPUs, give us feedback so that we can keep improving the miner.

For more information, download, and support check the website: https://miniz.ch/
Download miniZ miner here: https://miniz.ch/download/

Happy mining!

Hi dgeo, this has been added in the latest version, v1.0h.
Hello!
It works fine but shows average ping rather than actual.
When I start mining, I see a large ping and after a while it becomes relevant.
And hive os support is also interesting

Thanks for your job
