based on the news that i heard from the team on Telegram and Discord, the exchanges have yet to upgrade their wallet also it was delayed on purpose.
some of them have a problem with their wallet such as stuck at certain block that was happened on cryptopia and the fork that will happen in the future.
this is an official statement from the team regarding this problem

As most of you know, the wallet exchange are in maintenance for a while now. They have been put in maintenance on our demand after the issue we encountered with NiceHash attack, and chain splitting after the updated difficulty algorithm.
Because the fork is coming in a week, we have planned on delaying the exchange wallet update to after the fork. Please note that we will have to monitor the network for a few days after the fork to ensure that everything works fine before updating the exchanges. The targeted date for the exchanges resuming wallet operations is the 8th of November

We understand that some people can see the delaying of the exchange update as a set back, but for the perinity of the project, and to keep good relations with the exchanges it is not recommended that we put forth two updates in a short timeframe. We hope that you will understand.

Hello everyone,
Today is the 1st of November. As you may know, we are planning a fork to update the algorithm to CNv2 (=Cnv8).
Because we need to run more tests, we are delaying the fork for a few days.

We want everything working perfectly before doing the fork. We can't wait to bring you the update, but security is the priority.

As a reminder, the update will bring major milestones:
- Switch to algorithm CNv2;
- Bulletproof transactions: reducing the size of a transaction, enabling more transaction per block, fewer fees and less bloated blockchain;
- Public transactions: the possibility to chose between public or private transactions. We will release a new block explorer that will enable you to check the informations on public transactions.

In other news, the October airdrop registration is closed. We will now review the database as usual to identify fake and abusing accounts. The distribution will occur after the fork.

I think the Bounty program will be more useful for popularizing xcash than airdrop.
Too many "cheaters" on airdrop

 They are handled well, those fakes and "cheaters". We got a Capha bot now on the Airdrop channel. They even have to pass other rounds of verification.
I think DEVS are doing fine and keeping things at bay. They improve things nevertheless and adapt to new challenges.

 We shouldnt just  pump this platform, not before it is a decent product and offers much more so it can stand on its own. + Miners must be KO-ed first aka POS. Their insane dump cycles are not needed in the future. True supporters need to understand it is a great project, but it is a newborn, better for it to gather some strength on its own. Time is key factor here, be patient.

For an exchange it's always a stress to de-activate / re-activate a wallet, so since the wallet was already de-activated for the nicehash attack problems (which have been solved), it made no sense to re-activate it for just a few days and then re-de-activate it again for the upcoming fork.

Not to mention that exchanges wouldn't be too happy about retesting the same wallet a few times a month as with us being a new coin it wouldn't look good.
This delay also shows the team in a more professional light.

Here you go and yes all is fine. They are testing a bit more. I would say it will be next week (around Tuesday-Wednesday).

Yes its going good. Were looking at Nov 6-7 launch since we need to give the pool operators the binaries 24 hours in advanced, so were not the only pool that works right after the fork, since the proof of work algorithm is changing.

also for any one that is running a pool, please join our discord and we can make you a pool op
yesterday I posted how to upgrade the pool to be compatible with CNv2 as well as how to enable your pool to be able to send out the new public tx in this fork.

our pool will support users choice, which means every user has the choice if they want their pool payments to be public or private (by default their private of course)
this was people mining to a paper wallet will be able to check their pool payments by address in the explorer
