Glad to see some of the other Developer from another project, watching an X-bank progress that's what a great honor. Let's us make all people know more about the X-cash. It will be excited went the X-bank actually fully release into the public.

Half the month is over but half is still remaining.  It was said at around first week of February that estimated date of release would be within two weeks and I think it is soon going to be passed, if it is not passed yet and so we will not have to wait long.

No, the airdrop isn't a huge thing theoretically. If they wanted to do it, that wouldn't cost them a lot of time. Whatever their reasons are, as long as the decision is well-considered it is ok.

But airdrops almost always give more than all the bounties together and that is why most of the people like airdrops more than bounties

They are not doing the airdrop because it takes too much time to go through the applications and verify their authenticity. Each month it would take the team a week to do that and it was a monster waste of time that they could use now implementing the new features. X-Bank will facilitate the airdrops now and eliminate the data checking and the time burn.

We have just forked at block 281000 today

We did this as a surprise to ensure the unknown 85% of the HR would not 51% attack the network in advance.

The reason for the fork
To be anti ASIC, FPGA and nicehash
To prepare for the next fork in Q2 for our DPOS

The changes
new algo Cryptonight HeavyX (2mb scratchpad with double (1 << 21) Iterations)
2 minute block times in order to store DPOS data on the blocks

Why is network hashrate still so high?

Its because of the fork, it might take a day or 2 for the difficulty to decrease to the correct difficulty.

Earlier Windows wallet versions did not support Windows 32-bit.  I think it still only supports 64 bits Windows OS, but not 32 bit.  Please build it for 32-bit Windows.

The issue is that airdrops don't force anyone to do any due diligence on the project and you fail to establish a connection with those receiving the airdrop. Bounty people at least slightly check the projects they work for because there is the risk to lose a good amount of time on bad ones.

This too is not true 100% as many of the bounties just require participants to do Retweet and Like type of things instead of creating own posts.  Let's not fight I think it is better mixture of airdrop or bounty.

This is due to the change of mining algorithm. People are learning new software. Therefore, such a sweet difficulty won't last long. We must seize the moment

I too just can't find the article.  I think if that would be the case, it must have already been announced here.

Not there yet as stated before. It will be announced when X-bank is live.
