maybe only a few people who will immediately throw the token, bounty hunter also certainly know which tokens or coins are potential, otherwise they will immediately throw the tokens while there is an exchange, my experience holding tokens from reward bounty which when I received it around 300 $ after a few months later the token is only around 75 $, big loss, you are right all coins or tokens depend on the project and the product itself

It really depends on the projects themselves. I think for some bounty hunters, after their stint with a project, they find it worthless that is why they are dumping it to get rid of it as soon as possible for them to convert to eth or btc which is of more value to them. Some projects are great that bounty hunters who joined them don't necessarily dump their token but wait for a good time before doing so since they have invested their time for that project to become successful.

I agree with this opinion, the bounty hunter will sell bounty payment tokens if the project is seen as unsuccessful and has no potential to be held for a long time so they will immediately sell their tokens, but if they see this project as good and have the potential to grow then they will not sell it.

I do not know the percentage of bounty hunters that are dumping their shares, in my case I always make sure I still have a portion of the coin I promoted i never dump everything especially if the project is that good, I would not want to regret later for selling earlier.

I don't think so. Tokens to be dumped by the bounty hunters is depends on the projects. If the project is not successful there is no way to hold the tokens because it will become a shit coins and the values will be fade. But of the projects were bounty hunters joined is promising and have a good platforms maybe the tokens they have received will be hold and they will invest to it. That's it what a trading business all about. A good strategy to earn a lot of money.

I agree with your assessment, bounty pool often accounts for 1 - 2% of the total budget and projects cannot blame their failure on the 1% they paid for promotion, besides a lot of projects already get exchange listing & price dumps before bounty tokens are released

I am not quiet sure about all bounty hunters but i know 80 to 95% bounty participants always dump their tokens earned from bounty campaign forba few bucks . I have seen many project where that particular coin/token is now trading at less than half of ICO price. And many people blame Airdrop participants for decreasing their market price but i think actually they should blame some bounty participants.

But how did you know that they are the hunters that dumping their coins? Except if they are your friends. You should know that some investors are joining an ICO for the huge bonuses of up to 100% of free tokens that after the unlock they will sell it immediately as they have already gained from the bonus token. I also heard that some ICO are already selling huge parts of their token to cover ICO expenses and to ensure profit then it will be blame later on to the hunters.

The problem can also be narrowed down to the team and how competent they are in setting a structure for their token metrics, which will involve the budget, bonuses on offer, pricing structure.
If this is left to be below standard then investors will have doubts about the project

The best way to avoid this mess as an investor is to not sell when the bounty hunters get their token instead they should rather wait till they are after the bounty hunters might have finished selling their token.

Bounty hunters are not responsible for the dumping, because developers were very clear in it. If bounty hunters were provided with tokens earlier, automatically they'll try to sell in a short and this leads to the fall of the respective token. To this, the participants were paid after a long time once after distribution to the investors. Upon this I believe bounty hunters weren't the one who dump.
