I am a Hodler, I have waited for straight 8 difficult months to see the bulls return, we were having some semblance to a boom in the last 2 weeks, now market cap is struggling with 250 Billion $. How long are we going to wait?

If you are having difficulties after just a few months then you are going to have a lot of problems because I have strong reasons to believe the bear market is going to last for several years and most people that are here that are swearing that are going to hold their coins are going to get out of the market during that time and only the strongest hands will get any kind of profits.

If you are having difficulties after just a few months then you are going to have a lot of problems because I have strong reasons to believe the bear market is going to last for several years and most people that are here that are swearing that are going to hold their coins are going to get out of the market during that time and only the strongest hands will get any kind of profits.

Only strongest and people who fully understand what they are doing are the one who can wait, bear can be continue and there's nothing wrong as weak holders will follow the trend and create more dumped, I believe that after this long bearish bull will be more stronger than the previous movement.

I'm not sure there's going to be a mini-bull market in 2018, the market has been down for almost four months, and a rally should be possible.

I believe we are not in a "bear market" in some sense. I think we were in a bull market and the prices went up really high however it dropped pretty quickly. Remember what the prices were before December ? Well we are just going steady, there was just this one crazy insane bull run but than it went back down to real numbers. If you  consider it like "bitcoin was once $20k but now it is $6k" than you will be really sad and hopeless.

Nevertheless, if you see it like "bitcoin has been $6k for nearly a year except that one time in December when it skyrocketed and come back" you will feel a lot better because you shift the anomaly to $20k and not the bear market that dropped to $6k.

If you are looking at the whole year chart of bitcoin or crypto market we can easily say that we are still on top compare to the previous year but if you see the chart this year we can say that bear market is the trend this year. $20k price of bitcoin might be a result of price manipulation but many people are trap on that level so this make investors trust fall also. This bear trend will end if there’s a big good news out in the market.

I think that there remains uncertainty in bitcoin price for the whole year. Investors never find a chance to do investment, all the time they were in worry that the price will drop more and more. But I think that now the time is to do investment in bitcoin, because now its look like that bitcoin price will very soon start increasing and this time it will at least reach to 15k very easily.

Yeah you are right that prices are already in a low position in a long time period, but that does not mean that prices will recover in the near future, we remember when the end of 2012 the price had dumping occurred and prices dropped very sharply, it took years for prices to recover...

we have to be more patient to wait and see the possibilities of bitcoin price to rise and showed green again. i think the price will always stable in approx $6000 - $8000 until the end of 2018, but i hope the beginning of 2019 all of cryptocurrency price start to climb graudally and will never dumped as we have experienced after Q1 of 2018 until now. unless, we see the most potential project that will attract more investor to create huge demand of cryptocurrency, after ETF rejected we need breakthrough project to easily pump the price.

I am also very wondering about this, and I am looking for news and answers about this, I hope this bearish market will be over but sometime, and I see the market is still unstable and now it is dominating red, do you really have to wait until 2019 if the market will go monthly

No one cannot predict the market situation, for past two days the market was in green. Again today the market is in red the value becomes down. Present situation gives panic to hold the bitcoin, because we dont know when will the market recover. Hope and petience only need at this time. Just hold the coin for long time once the price will touch the moon you can sell and earn good profit. May be the bear market will end by this month and the bull market will come by the end of this year.

As far as i know, no one knows it yet but there are certain things that might going to happen in order to stop the bear market. If there's a hype and good news that keeps on spreading then it is the time that the market will start to change its course. For now, our only hope is just to stay calm and keep holding until the market come back.

We're not even really in a bear market anymore, and haven't been for a while. We're in a neutral market. Bitcoin went under $6000 7 months ago and despite three more tries throughout the year to knock it below that price it hasn't once gone below that level. We've just been scraping the bottom of the market for 7 months. But as the highs get lower and lower ($11.7k -> $9.8k -> $8.4k -> $7.3k?) we are getting closer and closer to the time when even the bears will accept that their is nowhere to go but up. The lower highs in conjunction with the consistent bottom at ~$6k means the crash is getting less and less volatile.

Basically we are probably out of the crashing phase since there is no room to crash anymore, and we may spend a bit of time just chillin' on the bottom in the $6000s and $7000s (might be at the start of that right now) before the market accepts that now is the last time to buy in low before it starts heading up again. I'd give a 6 month time frame in which the market finally accepts there is nowhere to crash anymore and it finishes scrapping along the bottom and the next long gradual bull market begins. Basically expect by beginning of 2019 to be moving up and away from the $6000 bottom for good, possibly going back across $10k around the first month or two of 2019.

What is clear is that it will take a long time to get up from the bearish market, and whether or not it will end, maybe only time can answer, so at least to be more patient and wait for price changes or high jumps to occur

    Always think positive in this current situation and trust the market cap can surpass in this circumstances. I always believe that berish market will consistent desist from its dip and have a descentful profits by the end of this year.

Not unless we will see bottom soon. Many agree with you but some  dont. I believe we will see bottom this or next month. And after that for like a half year sideways what you predict is already happening right now.  To be totally sure we will have to wait for start of bull market and that will not happen this year in mine or your case.

I think you were right since no FUD that keeps on spreading all over this place and yet too many of them are already speculating the prices for the upcoming pump. We haven't seen bitcoin reach or even break the $10k resistance in a while, so the best hope for now is just to hold until the market came back.

waiting is the best answer for this because we don't know when the bear market will end and we can only wait for the rise of the market. maybe it will rise in the next weeks or in the next month but the rise can happen in anytime without any information. we can only see what will happen in the market only without knowing when it's happening. lets we prepare from now on so when the market can rise in tomorrow, we are ready to take action by selling our coins to make a profit.
