A couple of quick announcements:

1) We've successfully completed the hardfork at block 16,000.  It appears that things have gone smoothly and most if not all pools and clients have been updated and are on the new patched versions of cannacoind and cannacoin-qt. If you have yet to update your client or server please visit cannacoin.cc or github.com/cannacoin-project for patched clients/source.

2) We've added our first checkpoint at block 10,000 (hash: 41f18b61e2859cb6c1f8066fec789d19160a7d531231df13d2dcbe76bf70307d) while we had an opportunity.

3) http://www.cannacoin.cc is back up and running after a serious server outage.  Block explorer services available shortly with a newly patched cannacoind.

Not if they are to be listed on the same exchange, or use the same pool. most exchange and pool owners will have the short name somewhere in their configs

Aaaand as i said before, We already had CCN before you guys. Aaaannd again as i said before 2 coins can't be named CCN, as proved here!

Its not promotion, (Although i dont mind Crypto Prices listing us  ) Its a technically sound argument to you not doing quite enough research before you launched. Lets get this straight, This will affect both our coins as has already been proved and I don't want this to become some childish slanging match, we're all professional developers here.

So i'm offering my help instead. Let me help you change your CCN code to something else in your wallets so we can live happily side by side.

I too noticed cryptovein went offline shortly after the hardfork.  I know they had some issues with updating some other coins so I reached out directly to Haze to see if he was planning on re-adding Cannacoin, I still haven't heard anything back but I will try to follow up with him today.
