Developers cannot hide behind aliases if this coin is to gain major acceptance/credibility...

just my two cents, but Im always right

Do you know who Satoshi is?

Don't answer, its a trap.

I will answer,  Wink

First off, its a group and not an individual, and second, they aren't actively promoting BTC.  Can you imagine if the members of the Bitcoin foundation were known to the public only through aliases?  Im not saying I trust the bitcoin foundation, but I am saying that there is no way I would trust them if they were known only through aliases.

Its about credibility, and like I said, I am right.

Wait.... are we voting from the list of already shortlisted names or completely scratching that off? We already had a long thread where any and all possible names were thrown right? Repeating that here again will just drown this thread in 50 pages of one word posts. Why are we redoing this? Cant we just move the poll alone here in the OP?

EDIT: the poll with the 6 names from the coin2forum I mean.

Its about credibility, and like I said, I am right.

You couldn't know it to be a group and not an individual, your assuming, with no empirical evidence (no circumstantial evidence for that matter either).
When you think you 'know' something without empirical evidence, you don't know something, you believe something.

Their alias is, for intents and purposes, their identity, so they have identified themselves. Under their assumed identity they may garner the trust of other individuals.

This however, is moot. They are not asking for trust. They are telling you what they are going to do, and they are doing it, and along the way, they are offering empirical evidence of their actions. Well played dev team, talk softly and carry a big stick Grin

Don't answer bro, it's a trap.

How does identity correlate to trust here? I can understand if you are doing a transaction where if one party defaults, then you can seek the assistance of the law if you know the identity of the defaulter. In this case what's identity got to do with anything? What if this was Satoshi's lil pet project? Then it becomes "credible" or something?

hey guys, just came accross your coin. Great concept!
Who is the developer team?

I would like to help you guys out. I have over 15 years experience in Branding, Marketing and Promotions, Equity markets, Stock trading, valuations etc. I would love to donate my time and efforts for free to help brand, market and promote this coin. There are a few things I am still reading and learning about your coin but what I gather so far, is you have developed a PoS coin and are developing a FPS game. Is the plan to incorporate the coin into the game so players can bet against eachother? If so I think this coin has serious potential. I have a lot of ideas. I would like to help. Please point me to your leader!

There are few things IMO that needs to be done inorder to be brand successful and a winner in the end.

I have a lot of ideas on what should be done and what should be canned. Either way, I dont want to step on anyones toes. If you are interested in having me help with some of the things the developers havent been able to do and accomplish let me know. Please.

BTW, who made the logo for the coin? Why is there wood in it? Seems counter productive to a digital asset.

Let me know guys, Thanks dudes!

bittzy and venmo decided on, no Coin2 in the name, we have a marketing strategy for this, try not to be too similar to movie titles, or actual games currently in production. Have fun with it, try not to be vulgar.

Doe's the FPS have a common theme? Please tell us.

I wouldn't call a book about electromagnetism, introduction to neuropathology.
I wouldn't call star wars the note book.
I wouldn't give myself a little girls name.
I wouldn't call IE a good internet browser  Grin

Tell use about the FPS so we can actually get it right....

Setting....
Guns.....
Models...
Characters....

anything!
