I could be a very patience person from between the impatience.
Here is what I understand Coin2 circumstances.
Joel was under the pressure that the coin been attack the 3rd time, he's running out of juice. A genius is still a human and need a breathing space.
Coin2 has 2 Dev, programing involve into the effort for the new Coin2 modified replacement, probably from scratch but the same Coin2. I don't know anything about programming but I have work with programmers and I know it's not an easy task. Unless you want an insecure Coin2 release then facing another attack within weeks. That's not an option for us all as investors and as part of community who really concern of the future survival of Coin2. Especially some of us has already initiate certain project, secretly or not, it's an investment and commitment. FYI, Coin2 is not facing just one front problem but 2. To resolve both, need times.
Let me re-remind you, Joel has a real Job and Family, so as the Dev(programmers and community committee members. Coin2 may make him very wealthy in the near future. However, you can't live on future, that's not reasonable even if your financially doing great in the real world. Difficult time brought out the ugly side from certain human, unavoidable......

Involvement in Cryptocoins, you are volunteeringly expose yourselves in high risk investment. Yes, you already accept the fact every new technology from the beginning could go extinct or bust tomorrow that you're still willing to risk as per penitential reward. So, what on earth were you thinking if you unable to accept the hiccups but the total lost? Have you lost your mind or by accident relocate your brain to your ass?
For those who keeps whining and Moaning like an old Lady
Look at the bright side: Coin2's learning from the pass and evolving becoming a much stronger coin in every ways. A lesson that money couldn't buy but through experiences. Coin2 also has becoming a real community based coin. With or without founder, will continue as Bitcoin is doing. I'm so sure Joel very proud of this and his legacy will remain even he decided one day in the near future that he will step aside completely just monitor the progress, someone will always available to take over the tasks led Coin2 forward. That's not many altcoins have achieve out there in such a short period time.

I am a much poorer Cryptocoins investor at the moment due to damage drives and insurance company refuse to compensate the lost assets in those drives.
However, I still think I could manage to acquire a few. If you think Coin2 will be a death coin or is a death coin, don't want to take that risk.
I am more likely to take over dollar per dime. Yes, not dollar per cent. Better than you risk losing everything, right?
I committed to risk in the event of Coin2 reopen in exchange drop significantly to only single digit Santoshi. If that happens, I will still agree to pay you the agreed price we set.
