So what is up with the new exchanges (or semi-future exchanges) and the culture of bribing? Here are a few examples constantly promoted (possibly by the site owners under several usernames they created themselves):
mintpal.com
cryptorush.in
allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php <- Not even an exchange!!)
The last one is not even an exchange. Its a FUTURE exchange (who knows if it will ever be) but is already asking you to pay them off to get your coin listed.
Voting for your coin to be listed is fine. PAYING FOR YOUR VOTE or extra vote is not.
I propose that these bribery sites be banned altogether from bitcointalk.org. Please show your support. This is probably one of the reasons why people on the bitcoin side think altcoins are full of scam artists.
From WIKIPEDIA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bribery"Bribery is an act of giving money or gift giving that alters the behavior of the recipient.
Bribery constitutes a crime and is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty."
