PoW was never a part of faircoin its pure PoS so very little coins are generated. I believe its 6% yearly, it started with 50 mil total and distributed to those who signed up for it. Now the rest of us are just buying up as many as we can cheaply and then the multipool mines up btc to help grow price.

Ahh ok bro technically yes, if you enter setgenerate true into the debug screen of the FAC wallet you can generate .001 FAC off transaction fees. It also helps secure the blockchain. I'll say this though... In 3 days I made a whopping .003 FAC using 99% CPU all day. So for me I can't afford the strain.

Right. So then my question was is this like PoW Mintcoin problems that the dev ended up forking it or unrelated? It's too technical for me to understand so I just wanted to make sure it's been addressed.

I remind people to be careful and not go dumping because it is clearly more likely than not that you will not be able to buy back the same number of coins for less than you sell them for. Many people have been burnt trying to dump and then buy back cheap and as you can see from the 24 hour graph it hasn't worked out too well for them.
