Looks like we won't need the static IP, it's connecting pretty well new windows wallet can be found here: https://mega.co.nz/#!04ZBxZpD!dAXrkcvMrh_8YnRo3Zh_FhbeWbnHWDIzdLvFAdz0GHMsource code on github is updated you have 2 options: *** whatever happens, back up wallet.datoption 1update faircoind/faircoin-qt with new version, and run faircoind -rescanthis will invalidate the corrupt blockchain and rebuild the correct one. this will take a few mintues please do this option if you can! option 2backup wallet.dat remove all files except wallet.dat and faircoin.conf in FairCoin directory from %appdata% (windows) or ~/.FairCoin (linux) REPEAT: DO NOT DELETE wallet.dat and faircoin.conf!update faircoind and faircoin-qt and run normally this will download the blockchain from a good node. option 1 is preferred for network security please don't mine if you don't have at least 2-3 connected nodes |

you dont know if those 5 million faircoins where from one guy. i was there trading, i buy and re-sell at higher price instantly.
at poloniex and btc-e. at btc-e the volume vent upp to 5 million when the bitcoin now dropped like hell and people panic to sell their faircoins. and how can we know this was just one guy when i see a bounch of small trades at all asking and selling prices. the price vent slowly down. now its like 1000% lower as usual. people buy it.
also my wallet is syncing just fine? i didnt download new one, is that what i should do?
right now IRS and China is bringing down alot of websites that trades bitcoins and exchanges it. and poloniex is in new york -.-

I want to clarify about the attack:
new coins are fragile
this trick is now much much harder to pull (theorically no coin is safe)
also pos block start being generated in a few days, and we'll add more checkpoints every few days until then

I downloaded the new one. ketp the conf file and the wallet.dat but it shows out fo sync what else to do? 1 active connection right now |
