NXT and Nem. I think Doge has a future due to the community.

NXT is a few months old and the value has risen a lot, so because of that fact I would really recommend Nem when it launches.

I keep promoting it.

Nem has what? AFAIK NEM has fallen in value by 50% recently?

Isn't NXT's supply very closely controlled by the 70 or so initial investors who put out very little supply to the market thus keeping price in check? I know NXT is trying hard to build a new platform but what does it matter if no one shows up at the party?

The repartition is much worse in Bitcoin. If you fear that, stay away from Bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies but also FIAT, gold, silver, ...

NXT is an obvious scam.  All the coins mined and only a few let in the party?  So, you get in when they say you can?  We already have that, its called FIAT.

In descending order of awesome, and expected fair value in BTC:
Vertcoin (long term) 0.08BTC
Darkcoin (short term, wait and see, sell at 0.01BTC) - highly dependent upon other zerocoin type efforts
Gridcoin (short term) - 1e-4BTC
Riecoin (short to mid term) - 0.06BTC

the NXT opening thread where you could send BTC to get NXT was open for 6 WEEKS. From the end of September to early November. It wasn't restricted to a few people, its just that few people were interested. Now everybody is interested in the next NXT-type crypto that will come out. Are you disappointed too that you missed out on the .01-$1 BitCoins that occurred for a 1-2 years?

The only people that are mad are the people that missed when NXT was cheap.

NXT distribution from the 73 investors is A LOT better than the distribution of Bitcoin's/Litecoins between the top accounts and the rest up to the present.

I truly believe it will be BoschiCoin- there are reasons for it to be unique, however it will not be apparent until it picks up in the coming 3 weeks,  but I wont disrespect your thread by posting the link to it.

+1

Business Insider is a joke! In fact it has been since John Carney was fired, the only person at the company able to put three coherent sentences together.

Since when is actual facts not reputable? I believe in Bitcoin, doesn't mean I don't understand how Bitcoin is distributed at the moment.

!.  Bitcoin:  cause is still works like a charm and is the original, long confirmation time kinda sucks
2.  Dogecoin:  community, inflationary which sucks IMO, and the meme fad might wear off
3.  Digitalcoin:  very professional, capped supply, designed for the long haul and coffee buying usage

I like the idea of NXT, but the release was so fkn shady its not funny.
