zeitcoin block halving was supposed to happen 15 minutes ago, is it delayed?
does anybody know why?
current block height = 19845 7 * 2880 = 20160 20160 - 19845 = 315 315 / 60 / 2 = 2.625 hours |

I see it is getting very popular and buy orders are always there for this coin now. |

I see it is getting very popular and buy orders are always there for this coin now. unlike DOGE, the supply will come in much slower in less then 3 months 57% of DOGE's have been mined it will take ~10+ years for ZEIT to get to 57% for the time being you can expect 25%-32% during this year the current rate of ZEIT per day is 2880 * 650000 = 1872000000 --PoS included from this point, assuming every coin is left to age and generate PoS blocks-- after week six it will be 17126167 ZEIT/day thats a 1093 reduction in supply growth, even if you look at it from week six, it will still be a factor of 3.4 expect bigger factors when considering not all coins will be 100% PoSing |

If it stays pegged that low and there's some inexplicable trading demand for it, it's likely exchanges would switch to litecoin satoshi (being referred to as "latoshi" lately) instead so the value could move up and down in a more fine-grained fashion. Either that or it gets delisted completely, and then you have to find somebody willing to pay 1 satoshi. I'm not saying that is the future. I'm just saying your estimate of maximum 50% losses won't work out as a failsafe. |
