Where is mining everyone on this pool?  akpool has the highest hashrate, has DDoS problems and a lot of problems to connect (was paying well while it was viable) Rest of the pools are either dead or have problems to accept shares. http://qb.altcryptomining.com p2pool is the only viable pool I've seen so far. |

inexperienced miner here.
Is it normal to have loads and loads of hashes neither accepted nor rejected??
I fire it up and the hashes seem to wiz by, but no acknowledgements.
I see some coins have come in from my 3 hour session last night however.
This happens on both linux and windows boxes.

this is the only pool that's consistantly paying out: http://qb.altcryptomining.com/QiWgXZFw6tbEzjSjpmR7AnjnCWspWKjiMK although i think i'm still not getting what i should be getting? I'm a noob to CPU mining. I have the same thing as the guy above, with the hashes whizzing by on the CMD screen, but the accepted shares are like 1 every 30 minutes. I have: 1x i7 3770k (800 KH) 1x i5 750 (400 KH) 2x i3 dual cores (300 KH each) totalling 1.8 MH I've been mining since the relaunch, and have about 200 coins so far, is this right? it seems low. can someone out there please give a guide to using the miner properly? i don't think that 1 share every 30 minutes is normal.. or is it? how did a guy a few posts above me get 600 coins with 3 laptops, when i got 200 coins with 4 desktops? help please! |

can someone please link to a profit calculator for this coin? or any quark based coin? i want to see what kinds of shares accepted i should be getting... the CPU miner doesn't seem to have any controls, and i can't figure out any arguments to use with it. this all seems very mickey-mouse compared to GPU mining...
