Guys! Please stop dumping the coin. Dont tell me I didnt warn you but it might be too late for you to realize it later because there's only 15++ million (not hundred million/billion/trillion/gazzillion/alien) of these coins. It must be worth alot compared to the other coins. Set the price accordingly and please...dont destroy this awesome coin.. Smiley

so are GPUs set to be able to really negate the CPU miners? wasn't that the point of 6 diff algo's? why then would this be any different from scrypt or sha-256? i'm guessing the ratio is better, but how bad is it? what can one 280x do compared to a 4770k?

--------------------------

http://sourceforge.net/projects/philosopherstone/files/QRK/
gives me 95KH per core (i3i5i7 improved2)

https://github.com/Neisklar/quarkcoin-cpuminer
gives me like 45KH per core (sse4)

---------------------------

my hash discrepancies are similar to yours and I'm getting far fewer shares than I expected as well.  I'm mining FairQuark and regular Quark and getting significantly more shares accepted than for QuarkBar.

Not sure if that helps or not djslick.

hey thanks man! appreciate the reply, this does put things into context, as i've never CPU mined at all, so i'm not sure if this is par for the course at all...

i'm wondering if it has anything to do with GPUs? it would seem like a GPU could get the hashes in alot quicker an CPU mining, so maybe they're the ones who can get a share submitted before the miner finds a new block to work on from stratum.

anyone here GPU mining this coin? what sort of returns/hashrate are you getting? most of all, how many shares are you getting accepted? (CPU mining seems to be 2-4/hour, on a good CPU)

who are you and why do you keep insulting us?  You have replied to our other thread and I asked you to please respond with some more information and you did not.  I've asked you to open a ticket.  How does our support suck if we are trying to help you and you are not responsive?

Please open a ticket if you have not, I have one other quarkbar ticket at this moment for a transaction that does not show up at all in our wallet, I'm not sure if that is your ticket or not but we are looking into that one.

Is that your ticket? If not could you open one with your username, email or deposit address so we can look into it?

It looks like the quarkbar daemon was having trouble getting connections to the network even with the peer list.  I've restarted the daemon and it seems to be sync'g/catching up now.  Sorry for those affected by this.

Does anyone have a peer list other than what is posted on front page?  Ive also opened up the p2p port to help.

If you have deposits they should start rolling in soon.

Again if you have issues the fastest route is to email support @ our domain name, open a ticket on https://cryptoaltex.freshdesk.com, or visit us on IRC.

Please do not ask for support in forum threads as we do not get time to check in on the forums all day and sift through posts.
