Hi everyone. Im hoping someone can help me. I am new to crypto currency. I only heard of crypto currency and bitcoin about a month ago. I got interested and started investing in a few different coins. I started investing in QB a couple weeks ago and have been watching your posts here. I have noticed that the dev doesnt post anymore and the website is down and some of you are talking about this coin possibly being dead and needing a relaunch. What will that mean for all the coins that are out there? Will that mean they are worthless? Or am I misunderstanding all these posts. Thanks

If you believe the community, the community is keeping and will keep the coin alive.

As of the dev -- he's a retard anyway. His coin was heading towards success and he abondoned it suddenly.

But maybe he's like chaincoin and fuckcoin's dev. He goes missing for a few weeks, but them comes back with wallet updates and other promotional material.

thanks for your input. I am not a miner so I don't understand some of the language you guys use but I do a lot of trading. I like this coin and just wanted to know that I wasn't investing in a dead coin. What can I do as a person that only invests and trades but doesn't mine. I want to help make this coin a success!

Hey man, welcome to the show. Everything that keeps the coin rolling is good at the moment. As a trader you might be able to use some influence to get others trading. You could maybe shed some light on strategically interesting topics that help to make this coin more attractive from a trader's point of view that goes beyond simple exchange value. Feature ideas, dangers, just about anything is welcome. Fire away!

Been slowly stockpiling  QB for awhile now.  Seems like a very good value during the 'altcoin crash' we seem to be in.  Probably still continue to pick up more when I can get my price.  That being said...looking at the numbers there can't be that much cheap QB left.

Jonesd, if you want you can do a quick cleanup on the source of QuarkBar's latest version as a start and push it to Github so we at least can have new clients connecting again. I will try to take my DGWv2 test from INKcoin to QuarkBar on the weekend and have a look if I can find some seasoned C++ crypto dev in academics willing to take a gander.
I will also setup a GIT server for the initial development of the new version. Currently everything on Github is public and I do not use any payment method offered by them, so we will have to make do with this privately hosted server.
While we are at it I can setup a lot more servers we might need. I am taking suggestions here.
