This is beginning to look like its further and from the truth. Ethereum is really struggling right now. Not sure whats the main issue. I do believe in the need it will bounce back but things look bleak right now.

In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  I don't really think that would happen any time soon, because the price margin between the eth and btc is very high, so even if it is going to happen, it will take a very long time for that to happen. |

No, I do not believe in it. Look what happens to the Ethereum, now there are no sensible ICO, no one wants to invest anything. I do not believe that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

for such conditions await I think would be quite difficult. bitcoin will still be the main one and will not be in any altcoin by man. bitcoin will continue to be into the forefront of crypto and also the most good. This of course also because ethereum still has quality under the bitcoin so it will be quite difficult to overtake.

A few more months ago I thought that this is really possible, but now it seems to me that the Ethereum has any chances in any special way to develop in the technologicalway and that's mean it will stay around 300-400$

What would Ethereum surpassed Bitcoin, it needs not only marketing. Ethereum is a good coin, but it will not be able to surpass Bitcoin for at least two years.
the ethereum has community support like bitcoin. And when the ethereum will have sharding - he can smell bitcoin by capitalization |

Dude, did you think about it? Eth now in the breaking point.It's comfortable for 6-7 months to come alive.It never reaches the BTC price when it comes to it.There's no chance of passing.

I also think so and it seems that in the next five years ethereum will be able to beat bitcoin, because to be able to beat bitcoin certainly takes a long time too, so the most important thing is to just follow the progress in the future so that it is clearer |

It will take Ethereum years to come close to the current price of BTC and by then BTC would have tripped in price. I hardly see the possibility of Ethereum or any other coin overtaking Bitcoin.

Once it was believed in such a way as well the growth it has been experiencing was quite big by that time. Now everything has changed with more altcoins on the ethereum smart contract platform adds value to it. If that all gets combined then there might be a possibility.

I think it will happen in the future. Ethereum is the best altcoin today. ethereum has more complete features than bitcoin. The ethereum market is expanding. Investors are more interested in ethereum than bitcoin.

There's no assurance yet although there is always a possibility for such thing to happen. If this would happen, I think there'll be years needed given that the gap between the market value of ethereum and Bitcoin are way far. And also, the market value of both cryptos despite of extreme volatility are still increasing so we can't really tell right now. |

I think for ETH coins to get the potential to replace the role of BTC I think it is irrational because many people or investors prefer to hold BTC coins because ETH is a lot of coins sold rather than held, so BTC is more stable in price

ETH is the only coin that can beat bitcoin top, the sad thing is it will not happen simply because BTC is a real good coin supported by many investors and its price keeps on rising overtime. There are many invetor using the technology of ETH but in the end they still decided to hold more bitcoin. |
