I don't agree. What's about coin thas has died? my opinion, Altcoin will survive as cos it is not easy to build the blockchain and run perfectly. If there is a choice to use the main blockchain and it accommodates the goals it has to be chosen.

Only those altcoins will survive which have a real product, not empty promises, as well as those which have great support from the community.

Most coins that are utilities on their platforms have good prospects for future existence. Coins without a finished product, without an idea and useful function are more likely to die in the future. Such coins as EOS, NEO, TRX are unlikely to die, at least it is unlikely, therefore I prefer to rely on such coins.

There are so many ICOs, which means the number of Altcoins growing continously. Sure, there won't be 10.000s of Altcoins with high value in the future, or at least for me it seems too much. But in every fields, there can be more, so competition does not mean, only one can survive IMO.

Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!

Altcoin will not die because there are still many people who believe in cryptocurrency it will only happen if the people will not continue to invest and believe on it. But for now the price of the crypto is dumped because the investors are not increasing we have to double our effort to let other people believe in crypto so that they will also invest on it.

Most altcon are garbage and can not be used in anything, but there are very powerful altcoins like ETH, XLM, XRP .... So I think Altcoin still exists but the volume will not be as much as now.

how they say that, I think Altcoin is really needed in crypto, many people join crypto thanks to Altcoin, so I don't think Altcoin will disappear unless crypto disappears. And until now I only hold altcoins without having Bitcoin.
