I guess it's done for decreasing the level of "crypto world". Partially, they do it well cos as we know from news Nvidia left crypto due to "low profit"

In my understanding, the original poster commented only on a pattern he/she observed with minor price margin fluctuation. It is not related to overall decline of the market.  I noticed this pattern as well. Simple example: The price of ETH was holding between 273-270$ all day but RIGHT after 5pm EST it dropped to 262$ for about 10-15 min, then around 520pm everything went to "normal" - 272$. But Honestly i do not understand  why. it is happening.
BTC , LiteCoin do not follow this pattern. I noticed it only with ETH, ECT, which actually make sense why these 2 pairs act differently in regards of pricing pump/dump

The market is a Pump and dump now because we are in a stable phase we are in the middle, the bear market is over and we are is the stable phase maybe this will take months and after this, we will go to a bull market so prepare yourselves this will be exciting!

If this is from the institutional level investors then i think it is not a great sign, also it indicates the low volume in the market at the moment where a single big investor can move the market, future growth of crypto will depend on constantly growing volume.

very sad when many people complain about this condition and do not remember that the market will not be as perfect as what others think to get big profits, I do not pay attention to the extent of the current movement, of course I realize that this is a condition that is not good and not healthy while they use hype to manipulate prices, I think we can wait until the end of the year and for 2019 because it is the talk of many people that the market will rise, I faithfully wait by buying more than now.

It was expecting one among the traders.Many people in this forum will hold huge bitcoin and looking for the chance to sell.When the price of bitcoin reached 6790$,many people had sell their holding bitcoin.This term into the negative cause in the bitcoin price again.Then the price of bitcoin is reduced to 6400$ . Holding your bitcoin till the end of this year will be the good option.

I didn't noticed this but if you do, you can take this as your strategy and do some experiment while executing this discovery you made.

maybe if OP keep tracking this behavior then yes he can build a good strategy to take some advantage, following the trend and analyzing the behavior inside exchange will bring something decent, even a little pumped or a little dumped where you can buy and hold for a while, as we see that market recovers and again it will continue acting  the same, not unless the big strong pumped happen or the other way around, just need to have a clear plan
while making any decision.

If someone is interested on this discovery he made then everyone can make a good strategy out of this incident that happens during weekdays. Day traders and holders as well can have an experiment with it.

The way I understand it, market dumps happened on a weekends. Others says its because people are just cashing some money to enjoy the holidays. So I'm not surprised by this dump happening prior to weekends specially US timezone. However, this market never sleeps, so Asia Time Zone takes over, but in this dip so the market is back where it used to be.

But we don't have evidence though, its pure speculation but if you have been in the market for at least a year, you will notice this pattern in whatever sentiments the market is.

I think because half the world is about to sleep while the other half awakes so before the other half sleeps like before they prepare to go to bed they dump while half the world are just trying to roll up their sleeves to trade. It does happen regularly that they are starting their session just as how Tokyo session in forex market start, London and New York session starts.
