Hi guys, I was thinking about some moves that could help us.
I think that we could start with DISTRIBUTION. (Before we got full marketing team with final marketing plan)
My basic plan would look like this.

Phaze 1. We can distribute 50 mils. to 50 people of our choice. These must be "Proven people" - meaning people that proved themselves in Alt community and people that could be considered pillars of Altcoin world. Best coders, developers, marketers, exchange owners, writers, bloggers, and people who run crypto media in general. 1 000 000 coins is a good psychological number, to get into minds of these people pushing them to try to came up with something, RSC could gain value from.

Phaze 2. We will do traditional giveaway in official forums of more succesful coins. (lets say first 50/100 people posting their adress getting 10K)

Phaze 3. Small giveaways. 5000 for liking FB, Twitter, Reddit and all small stuff.

Also we should offer bounties for website, forum, reddit and other media.

Biggest problem is how will we organize ourselves. And how will we know if community approves action few individuals want to take, because RSC in fund belongs to all of us.

I decided to became RSC ambassador, so from now on you can PM me all of your ideas, suggestions and critics.
I will put it together and release it here, once amount is considerable.

OSX wallet build as the one the FP doesn't work for me on mavericks.

The dock icon was also not correct.

This coin needs a revamp. Change the name of the coin, Cleanup redo the main page, change the slogan, change the logo, get a better website, change hash algo, bounty's for designers and promoters. Just try things out with this coin, dev, since it cannot go any worse than how its going atm. Good Luck!

Dev, I found a bug! The wallet has problems when attempting to send more than too many digits. I think that's only a GUI issue in the Windows QT wallet software, so maybe you can look into it.

The maximum I can send is 99999999.99999 RSC. If I want to send more, I'll have to make another transaction.

We are now at "blocks" : 21206, so the reward halving is going to happen soon, maybe next week.

Yes this is a known bug, due to fact that bitcoin is only has max 99m, and we have more than that.. It's QT GUI only issue , and I already have the fix in the planetdollar code tree... i can integrate it over and release a new QT client if it bothers too many ppl, but it's not particularly a showstopper.

I'll fix it and release a new windows QT build today.

I agree. We need a more catchy name and block halving is coming soon so the algo could be changed then. We could also use a gambling site or a more popular exchange and a faucet as well.

Yeah should be fine, this was just an UI change, the underlying protocol has always supported > 99m transactions just fine (works in original daemon client)
