You could get it on a small exchange...

I am stuck at downloading block #87,184, wont progress further from it. Stuck at "20 weeks behind" despite 9 connections to RealStackCoin network.
I will leave it running over night to see if it resumes downloading.
Just notifying that its been 4 hours and stuck on the same exact block #.
I wanted to finish syncing this coin to mine it in case if this coin has some future potentials on some exchanges.
Alternatively I would appreciate if someone has a compressed file of all the blocks or a bootstrap.dat for this coin hosted somewhere that I can download to speed up the syncing process.
Thanks.
If there is a chance of doing something with this coin I'm in ...could you post the nodes I am getting none from wallet. I will try to sync also.

I could help getting it on yobit if someone wants to dev and resurrect the coin. I mined a few of these way back when.

A dev needs to take over, and probably fork it from that block 87,184 or something (date Tue Sep 29 11:43:37 2015). I'm not sure how reviving dead or dying coins work especially if we don't know who has the missing blocks.
Can we just mine it and it will continue?
The entire blockchain for this coin is smaller than 200 mb.
What we need are some stable nodes, maybe a block explorer, and a mining pool (unless everyone does solo.)

well I'm just a miner almost no tech skills. It is possible mining stopped on that date and no more blocks have been created? anyone know any devs that could answer these questions? what kind of promotion could be devised to get people interested? what it probably needs is a rebrand with a new direction but still helping those that have been burned some how by scam coins. then fork or possible swap. any ideas? we have been sitting on our coins for a while now, so slow and steady to a revival, so as not to make a mess of it. I would mine it again if we can get it going. there is a large supply of rsc possible, maybe we could do swaps for any functioning blockchains with dead coins and burn them. there are so many coins out there that are dead, maybe they could find interest in this one if we could get them something for there worthless coins. thoughts?

I'll donate a few million RSC to anyone who can revive this coin. As in, make it start moving again and the stuff I mentioned above.

Ok. Others, start pledging. I've contacted another dev who could possibly try to take over. It will take some time as they are busy.
In the meantime, my node is up, but stuck at the same block like all of you.

Whats the plan? is it just to get existing wallet working and then carry on mining on original schedule or will there be changes made to wallet ,total coins, switch to POS? whatever happens its got to be better than dead so i will happily donate 50 million RSC

I don't know what the plan is. I guess we just try to continue it as normal or back to original schedule. I'm thinking we just bump from block 87184 (that's the last block I can see as of right now) to whatever would have been the block today.
I don't think any one was mining after that, so that whole bunch of coins could either just be destroyed, or used by the dev for promotion purposes or whatever.
Better than dead, like you said.
We've been waiting 26 weeks, so we could wait a few more.

The dev I talked to is still busy on their new coin. Don't think they'll do anything else yet.

Unfortunately, I don't think the dev I talked to has time for any other coin. I got a few millions in the new coin (they gave it away), and I have about a few millions in RSC, ... so, ... well, just don't delete your wallet yet. You never know. Try to contact any other dev, lots of new coins coming out recently, one of them might want to revive this, I'd give a million or two RSC.
