As Much As i Love Everyone here. this coin needs to be re luanched with less WAY less coins as you can see now PND PENG PANDA CAGE BAT ETC there all dead doge GOT LUCKY. ok if everyone really want's this coin to succeed it need's to be hard forked and shut down and reluanched with less then 500million coins
You know the funny thing about this is that when I started looking at the code last week , I realized that bitcoins is more than just 21M coins. There's a define called #define COIN, set to tune of 100M (satoshi). And what the code really sees as total coins is 21M * 100M. So bitcoin's max supply is
really 2100000000000000 coins as perceived by the code...
For this coin, because i was concerned with int64 overflows, I actually reduced the definition of #COIN to something like 1000000 (which you might see as you look at why uRSC and mRSC doesn't mean what it means in bitcoin). So really the totally money supply isn't as huge as you think. All altcoins are limited by int64 currently.. so that decimal place is just a fake floating point.
Anyways aside from this technical mumble jumbo.. and where that decimal exists on your UI... what this all means is that it really does not matter how much the max supply is.. that is just an illusion.
But what absolutely matters for the success of this coin is the value proposition that it brings to the holders, and people that perceive this coin. Whether this be: a fun gimmick, a charitable effort, a way to make someone's life easier through tech innovation, or just plain marketing that make people believe in it. At the end of the day, those are the keys to it's success and value, not the total money supply.
I took part in mining pandacoin, and observed that particular situation: the problem with that coin is that the promoters of the coin essentially gave up on it.. and dumped the coin as soon as they were able. Thus crushing the value proposition for anyone else... Thus ultimately: the fate of a coin, and it's value is defined by those that hold it: don't sell - see the value rise.. dump and see it fall.
The one thing that this coin has going for you now, is that: I'm not like wolong
. I've held up to 6.72B coins, which is now 1.92B: after eatrader and I worked hard.. for absolutely no gain to ourselves, redistribute this coin to all original stakeholders. I won't be dumping it, or even use it for promotional activities without ratification by the stakeholders of this coin. And I hope that the strength of this community, brought together in part by the bonds of the scam situation.. is much stronger than that of any of the other alt coins on the market today..
Will this value increase / decrease? Will you guys all become millionaires? I don't know... But it would certainly make me happy that it does... and I can certainly hope
