The wallet is good and secured but you have to be careful not expose your private key. Some people mistake their private key for public key and that is a room for the wallet to be hacked.
The best place to download it is through your Google Play.

Very easy to use with beginners. MEW is a site I value best for storing your tokens, securing your private key in the safest way, and you will never have a problem with it. |

Honestly, I think it's secure, myetherwallet developers don't have access to your private keys, which means everyone must control and secure their keys. I haven't ever heard myetherwallet got hacked, just some people who lost their private keys and claim it has been hacked. Even most web wallets for bitcoin seems can not be hacked, unless you are reckless and the private keys could be accessed by the thief. The same theory for myetherwallet, electrum, blockchain, it's safe.

in my opinion, Myetherwallet is a safe wallet if you use it properly and carefully and is also recommended, especially for participating in a bounty campaign because they use this on average. besides that, Myetherwallet is also easy to use.

For me myetherwallet is very secure and convenient and simple. But I want to say in the world cryptocurrency around scammers. Therefore, it is difficult to answer your question, is MyEtherWallet (dot) com safe. Unfortunately, it can also be hacked. buy I've been using it for a year. Have had no problems. There are cases of fraud with phishing sites but this does not apply to this wallet

Is as much as MEW is safe to use, you must always endeavour to access the original MEW website by ensuring you are visiting the genuine site. The recent phishing scams have mostly targeted MEW being that it can easily be cloned for wrong intentions. I will strongly advice you use a wallet such as trust wallet, imtoken and Eidoo for your transactions. That is just my advice.

Surely MEW is secure as long as you can save the private key with right ways. Personally, I don't save the private key online. Just keep the data of your MEW in offline computer. But it's my own strategy, if you have a better strategy in saving the data just go with it.

It is very easy to create a wallet using Myetherwallet but be aware of phishing or fake sites as i fall victim to this once. Fortunately though i have only a little amount on that hacked wallet. Advise to use metamask to better safeguard your assets. |

If you want to start a career in Ethereum it is one of the best wallet. But read the complete rules and guidelines because you should download your private key and Keep it safe. My suggestion is Jaxx wallet is really easy to use and you can store number of Cryptocurrency in single wallet so you just try this wallet it is really interesting. |

MEW is one of the easiest wallets to create and use, I recommend using it With only 1 minute you can create yourself a wallet that can hold hundreds of ERC20 tokens but you also have to be careful when logging in because there are quite a lot of hackers hacking and losing the token in the wallet. |

the important thing you should always know about all kinds of wallet not just this particular one, and usually people forget to tell you is the following:
wallets on their own are not safe! even hardware wallets are not just safe. YOU have to use them in the right way to stay safe. of course there are some wallets that are safer than others like a cold storage being safer than a desktop hot wallet and that being safer than a web wallet but in the end it will come down to how you use them.

So there was some phising attempts to this wallet? people should becareful of those who try to stole MEW accounts. Any other wallet which is recomended to use?
You can try to download my crypto desktop wallet and it was providing a better security compared with MEW wallet. MEW has no offline desktop wallet and it will be so easy to be hacked or hijacked by the hackers. You can try to visit my crypto wallet because a lot of people in the MEW team have been moving to the mycrypto wallet. |

Yes, Myetherwallet is easy to use but i recommend you to use metamask extension. Safe than use private key on Myetherwallet. Metamask can use on Myetherwallet too.

I can suggest one thing to the author. Please note that using this method is up to you.
I will not put all my assets in Myetherwallet. No matter how good Myetherwallet security is, there may be a risk of hacking some day.
I think it is safest to distribute your assets with other personal wallets as well as Myetherwallet.
Recommended personal wallets include imtoken, coinus, trust, metamask, and Qbao, which are ERC compatible wallets.
I think it's safe to spread coins with these wallets, and it's a bit of a hassle, but keep in mind that this is nothing compared to hacking.

To me, it is secure to certain extent. However, where my fear comes in is when doing transaction or transfer of coins with private keys. At times, I do use MEW to send tokens to another wallet from my ETH wallet, I do this through private keys. My fear is the possibility of hackers. If hackers intercept the private keys of someone, that is where the problems come in.

MyEtherWallet is quit save one, especially when you use MetaMask for entrance. But to be sure in security of your coins is better to use multicurrency hardware wallets.

Yes of course, it is very secure. As far as I'm into cryptocurrency there's no negative news about scammed or the safety in MyEtherWallet from other bounty hunters.

My etherwallet is a secure tool but the security of your funds largely depends on the way you use it.
You should be aware you are using the correct site and your device is not compromised by malware and keylogger.
You should access your wallet only when you are sending coins and confirming a contract, the wallet explorer is more than enough for other wallet related task.
