Yes it is safe. I didn't find any occurred on Myetherwallet but you have to make it secure. You can use Metamask as well. You have to careful to keep safe your privet key safe and use the right site always cause you can find too many fake site here and there. You can bookmark the right site it helps to protect enter you to the wrong site.

I've been using MyEtherWallet, and until now it's very safe, but if you're still in doubt, there's another alternative, MetaMask, many of which say metamask is safer than myetherwallet, metamask works like add-ons in your browser

There is no wallet which is SECURED one.

All the wallets are one and the same and having the same principle of working. They get unlocked with either pass phrase, private keys and keystone file. I guess if you loose them then you loose access to the wallet. If you get phished from external source then you can get hacked easily.

Now these all wallets are online and prone to such things. They are secure if you are keeping everything safe.

Hardware could be the thing you should checkout. - Research it.
To an extent, you're right about online wallets, MEW however also offers an offline version so as long as you don't eventually hook it up to the internet, you won't have to bother much about getting hacked. Also advanced features like UTC file, MetaMask, etc are put in place to provide extra security measures and they sum up why the user base have remained on the increase.

The safest measure however remains to never turn an online wallet or exchange into your bank.

Myetherwallet is really very safest wallet for token or altcoin. I using it and I didn't faced any problem.

MEW is very easy to use, it's just that you don't forget and keep a good private key as a password to enter your wallet. For eth wallet, I suggest you use MEW.
Only all the data, private key and password should be stored in a safe place and do not enter them to third-party and suspicious sites.

Yes. But if you are storing a good amount of Currencies, you should get a hardware wallet. There have been many instances where people where hacked using Phishing pages.

you can create a wallet on myetherwallet whenever you want, it is recommended because it is the actual wallet for ethereum and any other ethereum based tokens. you can also use metamask if you want to.

It is a wallet service that I use intensively for about 6 months. I personally did not have a problem and did not have a complaint, but I saw some of the forum users complain about this service. Of course, I do not think it is a reliable service, but it is also the best in the sector. Of course this choice varies from user to user, but I think it is quite handy and easy. I also think that there is enough security for the online wallet service, but there are users who have serious problems and complaints. For that reason I think that you should determine your own preference by doing research.

When you use MEW you have to be wary of phishing attacks. So don't click any link that leads to MEW, and always be sure to type MEW web address manually! If you click link on some website that leads to MEW it can lead to malicious website that looks the same as MEW website and when you fill in private key, ill intended person can steal your ETH right out of your wallet. I recommend to use Metamask combined with MEW. That is safer method because you won't have to type in your private key or upload json file manually.

I have been using Myetherwallet for a long time and I'm completely happy with it, I have not had problems with using this purse yet. But I read several articles about cases of loss of all coins that were on purses because of the fact that the owners of purses were on fishing sites.

I think everyone here uses MEW as the main wallet. very easy and simple, but you can choose other options such as hardware if you want to save the altcoin for a long time.

This wallet is certainly very good and easy to use, but if you go to a phishing site, you will immediately lose access to your wallet, if you save the access files on your computer, I have just this situation. After that, I use meta-mask, he does not provide the keys to phishing sites.

MyEtherWallet is quite secured to a very reasonable extent but you have to keep your private key properly to avoid any loss.

For free wallet yes indeed MEW is the best one just need to keep your private key in a safe place and bookmark the website to avoid opening it from your browser from time to time, you will possibly victimize by a phishing site that can empty your wallet, remember hackers are just around you make sure to take care of your assets.

Yes it is, i guarantee it is very safe i use MyEtherWallet and there is nothing happened i can say it is safe because it needed a long password and the private key is very hard so if you are just careful and use it properly it is safe.

Frankly, sending through private key method is the most dangerous method out there, you are by logging in with privatekey imposing your most important data in the cryptoworld, private key is like absolute access to your address and funds so it's really critical. If you want it's always better to use some kind of wallet that uses 2fa than just logging in with private key.

Until now it is still safe to use myetherwallet to store ethereum or tokens. As long as we keep the private key in a safe place and don't forget. And don't be fooled by phishing sites so our wallets are still safe.
