Yes, it's secure, but there can be a problem with your computer. Your PC also needs to be secure.
I've been robbed even if I use myetherwallet. (keylogger etc...)
If you can to buy, only hardware wallet.

Yes, it's totally secure to user MyEtherWallet. But make sure you don't make some mistakes and lose your account like entering your private keys on phishing sites, Always check your connection if it isn't secure leave that site immediately. Or on another hand, you can use some third-party extensions to secure your MEW wallet like Cryptonite by MetaCert.

I have been using for several years and I have not had any security problems. The main thing is to use elementary security rules and you don't  have to worry. Basically, people themselves are to blame for the loss of their funds from their mew wallet.

The biggest threat of such website is all about phishing, aka directly to a similar website which resemble the same as MEW and get your private keys easily, its easy not to get scammed by simply notice the url, but its different story if somebody already had access to your network, or key press which wouldn't have any factory of safety anymore

Yes, my ether wallet is pretty secure wallet and a large no of people in crypto market use this wallet to hold their coins. People can lose their wallet if they share their private key to scams and phishing attempts if they are not careful.

Yes, for ERC-20 coins its the most secure and recommended wallet. Most of the people holding erc-20 coins are using this wallet. If you are careful enough then it cannot be hacked.

Also I can advise you to use the antivirus to check the site's license. If you use Google Chrome, you can install the application Cryptonite by MetaCert. It will protect you from phishing scams and fake twitter accounts. If you are careful, the use of the MEW will be safe. In my opinion, this is safer than using wallets from third-party developers.

Also use the extension Cryptonite, very convenient and reliable.But I advise you to keep the private key on another computer.It'll be safer that way.

The safety depends on you. If you are careful not to enter your private key into fake websites and your device is clean without malware then you are always safe with MEW. MEW is very safe but if you are careless then it is not safe

Of course, Myetherwallet is the easiest to create and use. However, you need json file security and your private key. Please save the exact address of the website to avoid web phishing or fake intentionally steal your account. Limit use of private keys when logging in, if you prefer higher security should use Metamask addon.

MyEtherWallet got hacked a lot of times.
So be cautious.
