to best protect your work with MyEtherWallet you can use it :
a) Locally, that is, on your computer, without entering keys and passwords online;
b) as a cold wallet, on a computer that is not connected to the network at all.
The second option is most preferable because it provides the highest level of security. Of course, the use of a cold or local wallet does not eliminate the need to install anti-viruses, and maintain a neat lifestyle on the Internet as a whole.
Third option to protect your assets with myetherwallet is buy a hardware wallet, such as ledger or trezor, that pendrive is our private key and nobody knew that, hardware wallet have a high level security to protect our assets, just remember don't use private key to login myetherwallet, it's not a recommend way to access your wallet because entering your private key on a website is dangerous

Basically, it's secure as long as you can keep it. I mean if you don't get phished. If you are aware enough, I don't think anything will happen which will cost you being hacked. So, be aware and don't get phished.

I have been using Myetherwallet from years now and it is the most secured wallet in ETH blockchain. Even if you buy Trezor then also they have given interface to MEW in it, so I guess that is the best way there is. There was only 1 or 2 occasions where there was issues in the past other than that MEW is the best.

I think, one ETH wallet in enough because it is secure. I'm using only one wallet from many years without facing any issue. But you need to be careful, because there are many scam phishing sites. Just one advise to keep your wallet more secure, save your private key, but remove their first or last three digits and note down it or save it at somewhere. So that, if your private key shared by mistakely or stole by someone, then it will be useless for him.

I personally did not have any problems with this wallet. As far as I heard from my friends, they also did not have any problems as well. The important point is safety

MyEtherWallet is quite safe in use. But only in case you store the private keys in the safe place. And if they not in safety, then any purse isn't safe.

I still using Myether wallet and I think it is still safe though I did not always open it using private keys to be safe , avoid exposing your private keys because that the only way that it will be open by other person .

Yes, this wallet is safe. Most importantly, you must carefully use this wallet. A lot of people lose their money due to the fact that they go to scam sites.

Anything is unsafe if the user does not know things like safety ratings, and makes them safe. As a facebook account, many people do not care about it and only use simple passwords, which makes it easy to lose their account at any time.

I don't think there's a real answer to this question. It's like asking: "Are the armored doors secure?". It obviously depends on the measures taken (see previous messages) and on the entity of the threat.

In the past, there were some dns hacks that forwarded people to fake myetherwallet sites. So be careful of course. Using it with a ledger would be the safest thing actually. So get a ledger nano or trezor to be sure of safety.

of course it's safe if you store your private key and keystore safely. and when you want to log in, pay attention to the site correctly, sometimes there are phishing sites that resemble official sites. other than that I don't think there are any more problems, just pay attention to the site when you want to log in, and ignore the email that says you get a free lottery or coin.

It's not safe then. Seriously, when a wallet can be impersonated by phishing sites then it means it's not safe by any means because if the users dont put so much attention into this thing they may ended up losing some amount of money which is not good. better use hardware wallet I must say

I still consider mew to be one of the most convenient wallets. The main thing-to be careful and not to go to suspicious sites and rarely use a private key to check the wallet balance. For 2 years as I created the first mew wallet (and I have about 10), I used my key no more than 5 times.

As secure as any webwallet, remember that those data are usually stored on remote servers, so probably for more security they always have risks, if it can happen in a bank, it can also happen here if you centralize the database, the most important thing is that you keep most of your money in a cold wallet and leave in webwallets only the money that you will trade.

I think using Myetherwallet is safe. and my experience is very easy to use myetherwallet. but please bookmark the official website to prevent you from entering the phishing web.
I think too that use of Myetherwallet is quite safe. The main thing not to get on the phishing websites. And so the purse is quite safe in use.

Yes, myetherwallet is a very trusted ERC-20 based wallet, you will have to be very careful though as there are a lot of clone sites trying to get your private keys and tokens.. Its safer to bookmark the official site to avoid any type of hacks.

I have been using MyEtherWallet for over seven moths now, it has never failed me or hacked from unknown person, because the private key are highly secured in my house room, not to be exposed it outside. and my MyEtherWallet has the potential to accept many alt-coin in the crypto industries.

It is safe to use and its not only about safety but on how responsible you are with your wallets.
If you can upgrade somehow, try to use a hardware wallet and purchase it but if you are out of budget, MEW is fine.

I want to create new wallet using MyEtherWallet(dot)com, is it recommended wallet and easy to use?
MyEtherWallet is a very secure online wallet and very easy to use as well. But you should try MetaMask wallet for Chrome and Firefox, it is a browser-based wallet which is very easy to use also.
