Myetherwallet is the most comfortable wallet at the moment. And it is also safe, if you can be careful with your private information. Just keep you private key safe and never share it with anyone. Also avoid visiting fishing websites and everything will be awesome.

I want to create new wallet using MyEtherWallet(dot)com, is it recommended wallet and easy to use?

I have been using MEW for over a year and have never had any problems. I recommend to bookmark the site to avoid phishing. And keep the registration data on a separate medium.

I really like MEW and I think it is very secure, although I heard and have read some stories that it was hacked by phishing sites or people received scam mail's and I think it was peoples fault, that they were fooled and got scammed, as they gave their details by their own weal and didn't pay attention well enough!

I haven't had a problem using myetherwallet itself. One time, i accidentally entered my private key on a disguised myetherwallet website where i lost my tokens. Luckily I have just started crypto and my wallet have not that great of a value. This accident is not because of myetherwallet and It was because my own stupidity so i have no beef with myetherwallet.

Mew is a great wallet, very simple and easy to use.  It is important only to keep it in bookmarks on your computer, and not to fall on phishing sites.  I still use the dextop version of Mycrypto, inside everything is the same as in MEW. I recently created a EOS address and realized that compared to him, Mew is very very convenient and simple.

I have been using the MyEtherWallet for a long time, and there have never been any problems with this wallet. However, I don't recommend storing a large amount of money on it, for such purposes, use a cold wallet.

If you use a clean computer without viruses and you will really visite myetherwallet.com website, then you should be safe. But it is online web-wallet, there is always a small risk that your Ethers or tokens can be stolen.

I am storing a pretty large amount of money for me, but it is safe and no matter what happens. As long as we stay alert and secure it carefully, we will never see a hacker. MEW is one of the safest wallets I have ever used, even more secure than the exchange.

Time to buy Ledger nano or Trezor and you will be always safe. Even if your computer is infected and I can say that about 80% of computers are infected, so be clever and invest into your safety! It costs only 100USD!

I have the same. I have been using it for more than a year and there have never been any problems, all cases of hacking are directly related to inattention and negligence of users.

yes it is very secure, if you use carefully, keep your private key safe.and beware of scamers. never share  your private key to any one. thats why in MyEtherwallet has always two keys, one for public and one for private.  so its safe. don't worry.

I use Myetherwallet to send token and ethereum with a private key, and I think it's very safe as long as we can make sure that the site we open is correct, and until now I haven't had a problem.

yes myetherwallet is one of the best wallet for eth and token erc20 is easy to use and versatile you just have to take some small precautions for safety, like use it in conjunction with metamask or with a ledger and possibly make offline transactions

In a world where greed and fear reign, there is no place for safety, remember this! The same can be said about the world in which we live, security is achieved through constant battles, so it's up to you how to understand this correctly.

it is better not to use a MyEtherWallet, it is constantly hacked, and ether and altcoins are being withdrawn. It is better not to spare money, and buy a portable wallet for $ 100. And you will be safe

I use this wallet without problems and, in my opinion, it is a good wallet for storing coins.

Based on my experience right now I would recommend you to create the wallet. That is one of the wallets that are trusted right now, besides the issues that happened before, this would still be the best wallet that I will use.

For safe using this wallet, the main rule doesn't use the private key in any cases. There are many use cases without private. Use metamask, use keyfile. I personally use offline wallet MyCrypto - project from MEW team. The last pass stealing was through HOLA VPN and private key using

In most of the cases, the hacks are a result of the user clicking on phishing links. So if you are careful about the URL, it may be possible for you to secure your tokens. I regard MEW as one of the best freely available wallets right now.
