I want to create new wallet using MyEtherWallet(dot)com, is it recommended wallet and easy to use?

yes, that's a wallet that is often used by all participants in this forum. I also use the wallet. Myetherwallet is an easy-to-use wallet for every bounty that is followed, and the wallet is very easy to use.

I have been using myetherwallet for more than a year and until now it is still safe. what you have to take good care of is your private key, and don't let you be exposed to web pishing on behalf of myetherwallet.

Till now, I have been using MEW for more than a year and never faced any problem with Mew. I hope MEW is the best wallet to store ERC20 compatible coin can store their by adding contract address there.

Yes, this is a secure wallet. I am using it from a long time. I have never faced any problem in using it. Just Don't forget to store your private key securely.

Myetherwallet is safe as long as you are aware of any attacks that will steal your private keys.

MEW is an easy and simple wallet to use. Even though there are many ETH wallets in circulation, I prefer MEW and until now I have never had any problems. The important thing is to keep the private key properly and use metamask.

For its very convenient and easy to use, but most importantly security conscious not to fall into phishing sites or hackers, never five out your private key for any reason

I don't know about other wallets what people are using but mostly i am using MEW from the beginning of my cryptocurrency i used to hold most of my coins in MEW. As long as if you don't share your private key MEW is very secured wallet for storing them.

In most cases, the theft is the fault of the victim. You need to be more careful and attentive with the keys.

In fact, recent hacking attempts are not caused by user error. A lot of people lost their money because of their DNS redirects.

It is safe to use MyEtherWallet. But scammer is active everywhere so double check before use your detail eg: private key. There are a lots of scammer trying to scam by providing website or link which is likeness of MyEtherWallet.

MyEthereWallet is secured, but you should take care about your private keys and keep them in total safety, because the site was hacked many times in the past, and it is not recommended to use the private keys to access your wallet there. It is better to access via MetaMask, for example.

Myetherwallet is more safer than MetaMask. It is because if you use metamask then you can be hacked on malicious website. But on myetherwallet it is not possible to be hacked on other website. You just need to use the private key on the trusted site.

No. Their official site shows in their interface the warning that they are vulnerable to hacks. Better use metamask to impose stricter security on your Erc20 tokens. But it would still be good using hardware wallets because I still don't feel safe with websites run by just a couple of devs.

I read somewhere that MyEtherWallet is secure if it is in its current state, otherwise you have to clone the repo and run it locally. Is it true?

I am not sure what you were asking, but you only can access MEW from their official site or from chrome extension which will redirect you to the official site as well and you need to enter your private key and encrypted password to log in.You can't run it locally.

See I am using MEW for more than a year now and which i didn't face any problem with the MEW. We can store multiple coins under Ethereum blockchain in one place. You need to keep your private key safely and don't share your private key.

Metamask experienced some problems before too.

The responsibility of each wallet user should start from ourselves, if you're a person that keeps on signing out airdrops and you fell for their clickbait and you're hungry to those worthless tokens. You are likely to lessen your security by providing important details of your wallet, so be it MEW or metamask.

Considering current situation myetherwallet.com is more secure than metamask. You can be a looser by entering into vulnerable side where you didn't want to give access but it got access for chrome extension. Which you could avoid if you used myetherwallet.com

I want to create new wallet using MyEtherWallet(dot)com, is it recommended wallet and easy to use?
All this time, Mew has been used for any transaction because it is already very trusted and is very easy to use. so you don't need to doubt if you want to use it. I think many recommend this mew.
