Myetherwallet is a reliable wallet. If you yourself will not leave your private key anywhere, then your tokens will be all right.

Users connect their Myetherwallet with the Metamask to check the tokens all the time. When you want to sell the tokens that time you may access your wallet with the private key on MEW.
Most of the people accessed any phishing sites and loose their money by accessing it with the private key.
Always keep your private key away from your browser until and unless you must need to access it.

Maybe that is why Myetherwallet not show private key for now in their new users. Or maybe it is me who not see it, because i only save json file and then directed to their wallet. Because they not want people put private key on other phising site.

Bounty hunter must have strong wallet like hardware wallet before working, because hardward wallet will conect automatic on trust site/myetherwallet. this is urgen for all hunter. because i have a friend lost them token on wallet when visit phising site, crying enough and lost 1 year token he have at worked as bounty hunter.

It is not 100% secure and people lose trust on websites that are hacked once. But what is great about them is they remind people to use hardware wallets to access their accounts or use a 3rd party wallet app when you want to make a transactions. I do follow them because I don't want any hackers to access any of my details.

Yes, it is the recommended ETH wallet, but not more than Hardware wallets.
But, you must have to care about your wallets. Following things, you can do to keep yourself free from hackers.

1.) .com official site has only .com extension so never go with other extensions.

2.) Bookmark official website.

3.) Check URL twice or thrice before getting in.

4.)  Do daily antivirus scan.

5.) Follow them on twitter for updates.

6.) Check for the gas price, sometimes you pay the high tx fee.

7.) Never click on a link received in the email.

8.) Telegram used to attack users, beware of unknown telegram users, hacker use images and name of ICO's to scam users.

9.) Be active on BitCoinTalk.

Use metamask instead. Because in some of the case, what I have observed, some private keys are somehow become public. I don't know much about it. I have seen this case couple of days ago someone complaining his ETH is going to another address automatically.

Myetherwallet is a secure wallet but it can easily be compromised by hackers if you are their target when you login with web link and your private keys that is why it is often recommended that you combine it with metamask which is a free application.

More than 2 years  using myetherwallet to store my eth and erc 20 tokens and still havent encountered any problem,  i saw many times before that mew is lalways targeted by hackers but still my funds and tokens are safe.

Even I did not encounter with any scam on using this site Mew. but people here does not know the right URL and keep on stucked with the phishing site and then coming here to complain about Myetherwallet.
We do not know how come these coming up with multiple issues after multiple times we explained the solutions.

If you do not share the private key at the phishing site, you funds will be safe for life time.

I use this wallet for a long time and if you follow the security that no one can steal your money. I think that this is one of the most reliable wallets, but it is better to use it in conjunction with the Ledger

Yes, MEW is one of the best wallet out there for storing the coin because i have been using this MEW wallet for more than 2 years if we follow the security measure then definitely you will be in safe hands and moreover, you shouldn't share the details of your wallet to anyone.

I've been using https://www.myetherwallet.com/ for 2 years and I didn't also encountered any problems. Just lately I notice that they upgrade their website with the interface and added mnemonic phrase. I think MEW is this best ERC-20 wallet where you can deposit your tokens safetly.

that's right bro, i agree with your words because myetherwallet has developed a wallet that is very easy to access balances with lots of choices, but my advice is you have to save UTCjson or privatkey files so they don't fall into the wrong person so that your coins and tokens it's safe

As long we can make our wallet safe, online wallet actually is very secure. I mean, there are no wallet site attacked by hacker yet since i join crypto. And and we ourselves are the determinants of our wallets safe or not.

The security of ones wallet depends how  he/she  using it. Put your private keys  in safe area ,  do not click messages or emails that contains suspicious link ,always bookmark the coorect address.

True. they even remind users to always check their URL before they get in and reminding them that using private is not advisable so it is already up to the users if they heed or not, that will already be in their own risk.

Well, that is the best option we can do here. Bookmarking a site which is safe will less of chance that you've scam or hack and that is a safe strategy in clicking site. There is also site that bait to click once you have been clicked you've fallen into their trap.
You can still use the vintage site of MyEtherwallet or known as an old site of MEW site.

For me its better to use old accounts for mew because making a new one is very hard to understand and it has a chance to forgot your password wallets but it is also secure and safe for using mew.

It is safe to use as long as you know how to handle or how to secure your coins and your private key, they have a new dashboard now, which is much easy to navigate, but I highly recommend mycrypto desktop version, it's much safer and they always release a new version almost every month to keep it secure and bug free.
