Cryptocurrency is the only viable way of paying in the future when all people would be dependent on technology, especially internet. As for the microchips, yes, it can also be used but implementing it would be very costly. For a payment method to work, it should be easy to understand, stores should accept it as payment and most of all anyone can utilize it.

do you mean micro chips inside our body ? wow thats cool but that is also dangerous and for sure many people wont agree on this insane idea . this wont be sucesful after all and i think there will be other alternatives to it aside from the cryptos but for me i think cryptos are already the best because it is fast and decentralized . all i need to suggest is that they should improve it , so that it can work beyond perfect rather than thinking of any other inventions . |

In the next 1 or 2 decades most of mode of paying will be via emv where you don't need a real or holding physically a money but just holding a card then swap or scan it you will be able to pay. Actually, this is happening now but they will improve it and connect it to crypto for us to easily spend our money virtually.

Im thinking like an micro chip implanted in our body. This system is not out of the picture because how we discover things every year, it is not impossible that in the future this things may happen and it will boom like btc.
maybe, but developers must be able to beat blockchain technology which is currently very popular. and don't use the blockchain platform to make other payments. if you still use blockchain as the basics, I think it's the same. and will still be under Bitcoin. unless they can see a bug in bitcoin. |

I don't like and disagree with your idea. Perhaps in the future scientists will work out a better solution now as technology evolves. But in the next few years I hope that bitcoin will be the most popular payment method in the world.

That is right I can't see anything else too that would fit the future that is why for me I am considering that cryptocurrency are the future of everything that is why we need to make ourselves ready for this as this will fit our future, so at least now we should be confident enough for it. |

I think that crypto currencies are already a future.
No one could even predict and imagine that today we already can buy almost anything using btc and other cryptos.
And your idea about chip can have a place.
I saw the reply about total control and that it's not the best idea but we already move to that side.
Or you think that now we're free and not under control? The simple example is Internet and mobile phones.

This technology is called NFC (Near field communication) And one company is already using it with their employers, they have a chip in the hand and use it to open doors, pay a coffee and receive their payment. The problem about that technology is the vulnerabilities, some one can easy clone your NFC code just by standing on your side, and some one can charge you a payment just by be in the same room. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKks3vfiy6Q How NFC phones can steal your credit card info. So, this is part of the future, is the first step, we need to make it more secure and will be the favourite payment method, just because it's easy. |

Definitely not a good idea and will not support that in the future. I am wondering how micro chips will be related to bitcoin though. And i hardly imagined that someone may discover a micro payment chips and i'd rather let bitcoin this way. |

I think that's impossible, because that will be radiated our body and our body will be not healthy. I think bitcoin is the closest one to the future, if it's globalize and all people use it, it will be very effective for global payment |

I agree with you, but not only as a payment and transaction tool, but bitcoin also has more functions such as investment, trading. I see that all functions of bitcoin will become a reality in the future. |

yes its right, also I think many people will not like the idea because implanting chips in your body is against on some religions and to some people who believe's that "you must respect your body and dont change what god gives you". For me as of now I cant think of any other technology that can be invented like bitcoin, even on futuristic movies still use fiat currency and other ways of payments that we are using right now. Yes I agree, I never think that scenario will happen. There are many smart ways that can be use to identify persons, but not to the extent that you will be tracked on whatever you do. Like bitcoin, the government cannot track on your account and every transactions are made anonymously. For me there's no other technology that bitcoin had right now, especially bitcoin payment system is keep on upgrading. |

There is no end to discovery in life. For these reasons, I don't think that cryptocurrency will be the last payment option to be discovered. The evolution of money over the years has shown this. The only thing that I am very sure of is that digital currencies are going to be with us for a very long time.

The answer is yes. I am sure of that. The world always changes. We see new things and innovations. Payment systems will also change in the future. Given the benefits cryptocurrencies have, I think they will make that change in payments. There is a high possibility that bitcoin will be that cryptocurrency.

over time technology will certainly be more developed but we never know. because the future cannot really be known easily. so even though we believe the current payment is just as you say, but the future is not necessarily like that. |
