It's not only ETH that went down, but the whole cryptocurrency industry. Bitcoin, the largest coin went down also. Now, the whole market is green for days already, entering the bull period. Good news and high hopes has been all over the news. Can be seen with the rising trends in the price of coins, including ETH. Looking for brigther future for Ethereum blockchain as the developers agreed with the proposal on its improvements.

Looking at how ETH is, I don't think the $300 it went will be permanent looking at how permanent the price has been at 289. Let's hope for the best in the days to come because I trust it being able to hit more than 400 by the end of this month.

If the increase is more and decreased the proportion of BTC dominance

indeed this year all prices have decreased quite large, all prices are back as prices were last year and the same month but the year here all prices have increased at the end of the year.

I think the players on this board get a little panicked when the prices fall. You either are a trader or a hodl'er. If you using a holding strategy you may only trade once or twice a year. So you have to ignore certain part of the crypto cycle. Hold through those times and sell at the cycle peak.

Yes ethereum price is under 300$ so it is real time to invest because etherum is at their low levels and it is for sometime and at the end of 2018 you will see that ethereum will cross 500$ levels.

Ethereum now has its price below $250 and it is just sad to watch how much this coin is suffering and trying so hard to stand its ground. However, I do not think that it is time for me to give up all hope on the coin yet. I still believe that it is a great one and I can't wait for when it surprises all who has lost faith in it and has called it several names.

And now the Ethereum price goes up again back to 242USD, after falling at 180USD.
Hopefully this is the starting point of the increase from Etherem because the market is now green.

You may have missed it but Ethereum actually dropped as low as $160, however that unpleasent situation appears to be well behind us now. Anyone with available funds and a stong stomach should have been adding Ethereum to their bags in the past month whilst the price has been under $200. I don't think we will see any lower prices for ETH during the remaninder of 2018
