I wrote a Guideline on writing & readability so that members here can make clean posts for readers.

That's not perfect or a good write maybe but I tried my best. Not sure if it will get a space in OP, but I'd like to try.

Here is the link:

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Thanks for the various additions, but I can't claim the credit for this one. It was created by grtthegreat https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520313

If there are no overall directory of threads concerning vanity wallet addresses, I'd like to have a crack at it.

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed Smiley

There are a lot of threads indeed, but not many of them are guides. But if you want to have a crack at it, go ahead Smiley

i visit that thread above but unfortunately that guide seems hard for a newbie, maybe you can add my thread [GUIDE] How To Create Vanity Address (Segwit)
the guide i create contains a tutor about create a segwit address and generate vanity segwit address using split key
I'll wait a bit, if Timelord2067 comes up with a complete overview I'll add it all at once.

I haven't added this. It's basically a copy of Wikipedia.

Sorry, what I meant was I'd like to make a list of threads that discuss Vanity Wallets. I've found some old threads.

I could add a basic set of command examples and links to the handful of exe's as well. Would be interested to hear what others would do differently.

I've got a proto W.I.P. [List] Vanity Wallet Generation - threads, how to & links over yonder:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5151346.0 [Archive]

It's in the Development & Technical Discussion section, but I can move it to Meta or else where if there's a better fit? (Almost all the threads mentioned are in that section)

Loyce, could you change 'The Lightning Network FAQ' link to this one? Also, I'm probably going to write a few threads about other second layer scalling solutions after I have finished a guide on LN wallets. Will you create a seperate section for them or rename the LN section?

It's not really a guide, so I haven't added it.
I accidentally sent you 3 Merit. I wanted to send 2, but my hand was one position to the right on the keyboard, and I only noticed it after I clicked Send.

Maybe thats something you can add to your list ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5167236.0
I didn't add this. I think it's too generic, and I don't expect the people who still don't know they shouldn't install untrusted software to read this.

@OP can you please move this thread on B&H section and bump at least weekly. Its took my 10 minutes to find this thread for some reason. I think it would more better if could sticked (pinned) on there. Because I believe most of newbies need to read this thread and they could find some important thread links easily.

Hello LoyceV,

Do you think this topic of hd49728 is feasible to be added to your index topic: List of Answered Suggestions. Please don't create topics before read them all!?

I find it very useful but, if course, you have the final call.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

Unless I am missing something, it does seem that the wall observer thread should be on the list somewhere, no?

Even if WO thread had its own category as trollbox thread.

From my quick glance, the wall observer thread seems to be missing from the various link index threads too (of course, LoyceV cannot take the blame for that), for some strange reason - even though WO ongoingly remains the most popular of BTCTalk threads.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k
