So why exactly is mazacoin welcoming asic's with sha256? Wouldn't going with something more asic resistent, like scrypt-adaptive N or scrypt-jane, make more sense since that will help decentralized and better secure the network. As it stands now, mazacoin is exposed to the same risk as bitcoin, namely where there's a concentration of hashing power to a few entities increasing the risk for a 51%.

For those that are with me and aren't refreshing the price every minute know this is a long-term coin. Subsequently this coin is so relatively new and can have a huge impact for the alt-community. Like I said this coin is solid and much more so than AUR; which might turn into a heist after all. Holding MAZA for at least a month . |
