So large news websites just fell for the lie. Source?

Are you kidding, what do they care?

They didn't even check it out, they liked the story, ran it and it will never see the light of day again.
So large news websites just fell for the lie. Source?
Well to be fair yes, most of them DO get the story wrong more often times then not.

Suuuuuuure

Your naivety is quite touching....... very, very sweet.

Hey, I hope this coin ultimately can help the Lakotans. In the meantime I'm gonna' make as much BitCoin as I can in the process. I'm not stupid, I'm keeping my eye on the prize.

Is that so bad?

Here is another question for the veteran traders. Would it have been realistic to put in 20k in this coin a day ago while it was so cheap? Did the exchanges (not including mintpal) have that much volume to fill a 20k buy at the .00005 levels?

As a trader guy I can tell you no that would not have been possible. Typically you want to be moving in/out of a marketing 1% of average daily volume in a given 24 hour period.

So for example right now, according to coinmarketcap.com the 24 volume on MZC is right around $740,000. So 1% we're talking $7,400 or 11.x BTC would be the max amount you'd want to move in or out (at this moment) without really shaking the markets.

I admire your optimism, I really do.

More than 99% of the native americans will only be concerned about turning their coins into cash........ you know the rest.

Why would you want to buy them from them?

Thanks for that contribution. I don't think there is a single person here who doesn't know its all hype.

I think part of the point is financial freedom from the $. For example - Native Americans have the right to set-up casinos to earn a living for their communities. If they have their own currency, then they can set-up online casinos and transact with a global audience with their own currency. That could be worth $billions every month, who knows.

Lets give it a chance before we remove opportunity from them. That's all anyone really wants - opportunity. That's why rural areas have become deserts, people are moving to cities for greater opportunities; hence we have more than 50% of the global population living in urban environments. Native American's don't want to live in cities.

A little closer to home, opportunity for our kids is why we want to live next to nice schools. That's it, freedom to pursue opportunity.

These folks buying and trading mazacoin have helped to bring it out of obscurity and into all our consciousnesses. Would you or anyone else, including me, really have commented on the current state of the native americans if it were not for people by default helping a worthwhile cause, while trying to make a little on the side for themselves?

As I said before, come on chaps.... fill your boots, we're heading for the moon and way beyond. Possibly to the fourth star on the left past Neptune.

I'm the source, I worked for various national newspapers, on the front-line, for over 20 years.

Lol, your agenda is clear.

I just wonder if you're this persistent in the AUR thread as well, seeing as their dev is completely anonymous.  Good luck with your crusade mission, pal.

I agree with your sentiments, bravo!

However, we shouldn't really be spending money on schemes that have no chance of success, if it was a serious proposition they would already be using litecoin or similar.

No agenda, I don't have any Maza or Aur.

Aur is already on it's way down because the doubts are setting in, how many times do we have to see this type of growth before we admit to ourselves that it's pie in the sky?

I made a shitload on Max too - you sound like a prime Max bagholder.

Before you have any doubts.....here is a sobering reminder of what indecision and inaction leads to:

Yes, bitcoin crashed to below $5 and people were scared of losing their money. Bag holders then, are $filthy rich now.

Let that be a lesson to you. And shame on you for not hodling firm.  Grin

Amen brother!!

I spent a hour or two last night reading some of the early posts in AUR form. So many people calling scam, so many people saying they overpaid at .00x
The ones who just believed in the coin paid off.

Let that be a lesson to you.
As the Highlander said, "There can be only one." There is no so-called 'next BTC.' There are no lessons to be learned from Bitcoin that are applicable to altcoins. We are all learning as we go with these things.

It's a run-of-the-mill SHA256 coin. Shirley, you can't be serious.

Its Sha-256. GPU is not fast enough to keep up with some of the ASICs. But you can do it. Start here (its a bit old) - https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/CGMiner

This is what you need:

I just noticed that every time I post, the price of maza goes up on coinmarketcap.

If its not coincidental because the price just goes up anyway, I might have to start charging for each post.  Grin
