Should have waited a few days, they dropped the price 400.

It's not so bad I got 10% discount using a promo code anyway, so I saved $239 on the original price

I got the same deal so its not so bad. Looks like I bought around the same time as you but still unfulfilled. Any one know of any ways to prevent delays at customs in the UK?

I don't know mate, I'm also in the UK, although I did order some riser cables from china a few weeks ago it took about a week to get through customs but I really have no idea how long it will take

Hmm... weird. i put the 10x pack in my basket and checked the final price when it was for sale for 1999.99$

I just received a mail requesting to finish my order, for the same price still. If i payed now, would i have to pay the theoretically remaining 400$ later or would ZoomHash let me purchase it for that price?

I would assume you would get it at that price.Check though because that would be a heck of a price.

I used a code from reddit, for about the same value. How can i check if they're willing to sell it to me for that price, I haven't even an answer to my mail  Tongue

Maybe you guys can answer a few of my questions:

1.) Obviously the Raspberry Pi needs to be connected to te internet. Since i want to install everything in the attic or the basement, i can't really ensure an ethernetcable close by. Is a standard wifi-usb plug enough, or to i need to lay down another connection?
2.) The website states, the Raspberry is ready to mine. So I really only need to connect everything, power it up, enter my pool and worker infos to start mining?
3.) What kind of power cables are included in these "plug & play" kits? I'm guessing US-standards, so do i need to rewire something or buy just a different cable? If so what kind and how many?
4.) Lastly, I was wondering how many additional Gridseed-Units a 10kit can support, as I might be interested to buy another few.

I probably would be able to figure most of it out when delivered, but that might save me some time, so I'm grateful for every answer  Wink

What image are you using on your Pi's? Scripta?

I stopped using them and am now just running on a dedicated Ubuntu machine and my other GPU rigs as anything over 20 on the Pi didn't perform very well.

Use promo code: mycode10 to get a further 10% discount

Well, that promo code isn't 10% anymore. It's something like 6% off now. It's REALLY annoying that they keep changing how much the coupon codes are worth and their prices for the gridseeds. Seriously, just make the coupon code invalid and create a new one and keep the gridseed prices the same or only lower them. Lowering only to raise the price the next day is ridiculous.

Yeah, not really impressed with how Zoomhash is conducting business lately... They had and still have me confused about my order since they kept changing shit after the fact.  (ie. All accessories means just USB cables and just barrel connectors, and no way to go back and verify since things are vague on confirmation emails and order pages, with broken links to the package I ordered...) I expected power adapters ready to plug and play when I got the miners Weds, nope - still sitting in their boxes.  Very amateur.

Did you order the pack of 10? Or individuals?

10 Pack 3,000 ~ 4000Khs Gridseed Set. All accessories included. (ordered 14 Mar)

*ZH_Mike did state (after the fact) they were sending me additional USB cables and barrel connectors (which I really don't need) AND a PI and Hub.. but my biggest beef is I thought I was getting already wired up power adapters that I could plug and play...  my order arrived Wednesday (which was fast) but hasn't come out of the box due to the lack of ALL accessories...

We are sending you the pi regardless overnight. Here was the original chain:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=474017.msg5833339#msg5833339

Give us your BTC address and we will send you the btc for lost days mining.

Regarding our price changes and promotions, we price things based on:

1. How much we have in stock.
2. Mining difficulty.
3. BTC price.

We wish we can have a more stable price. Tell that to the price of bitcoin Tongue.

Just wondering... I see from ZH's website that the power supply adapter is a 12V 7A device. Would a 12V 5A still work or is 7A the absolute minimum needed?

And since we're on the topic of power supplies..... has anybody tried running 2 Gridseeds on one 12V 7A power supply by splitting the head? There are device splitters available but I'm just wondering whether it will have enough charge, while not posing any dangers to operations.

Cheers

Just got my shipping conformation 24 hours after my order. I'm pleased with the speed from zoom hash especially for over the weekend. Now gotta hope the queen doesn't nab it for weeks. Just a quick question. Does it come with UK power adapters? Or will I need to buy separate adapters?
