http://emc2.poolnetwork.org is fucked., front-end is fucked. I mined all night with 1,4 MH and got only ~ 50 EMC. WTF?

Contact the pool owner via this thread or pool email they also posted a maintenance message it looks like.

Well, yes I'm in the same pool, got the same issue.
Are we mining 'air' now? Or is the stratum server up and running?

http://emc2.poolnetwork.org is back up! And found a block again after 8 hours.
Have been mining nothing for all this time, I was asleep.
Wonder why, my miner didn't switch to the failover pool? Any ideas?

I didn't get it... this coin has a great concept, smooth launch, no premine etc. and it's loosing his value more and more. Net hashrate and coin-price is ridiculous low where other coins with outlandish features or failstarts gains the attraction of the miners etc.

I'll continue to mine this coin even if it's cheaper to buy it on allcoin!

It was heavy mined with a single purpose. Fast profit (whales). Now we pay the price!

That said, I'm going to NOT dump my coins and support EMC2 for long term.
I have also started to giveaway a small amount of my coins to my friends and colleagues.
This way, they will start to grow interest in EMC2 and crypto-currency.

there is no logic behind. Humans act emotional. There was no weeks long pre hyping. Nobody cares about fairness. Ppl are just lemmings.

So true, hardly anyone here cares anything about the coins goals, people just want to make a quick profit - THATS IT. If they don't make any money, they leave faster than you can say "don't give a shit"

I'm not even sure the devs give a shit about the coins goals, maybe they just want to give the impression that the coin is somewhat "different" from aaaaaaaalllllll the other altcoins.

The price was around 0.00000300 to 0.000000400 and suddenly went up to 0.00001300! Something fishy, I think! Cry

Not fishy. Someone just made a big auto purchase and that made the price go up.

Need some help here guys.

I've been mining EMC2 since day one.. I have been using suprnova pool and for the few first days it was all good.

Since yesterday my reject rate is through the roof. I am mining using cgminer and someone mentioned using vertminer.

can anyone tell me if this will fix my problem. Also why all of a sudden would I be getting so many more rejects.

I was told by the same person who told me to use vertminer that its scrypt n what whatever that is.

Can anyone here please help me out on this one.

Thank you.

Using vertminer is not going to help with your rejects.  Vertminer is a modified cgminer for a different algo coin.  I will not work with EMC2.

Try another pool and see if you get the same rejects, if not then you know it is not your hardware.  I think supernova is getting ddos and this is why you are seeing a lot of rejects.

You can try emc2.cryptopools.com as you get a nice bonus for finding blocks or any of the other available pools.

Need some help here guys.

Don't use vertcoin miner - use regular CG miner 3.7.2.
Make sure your intensity is not too high and the pool you use is not experiencing some problem (like being under DDoS attack)
