I don't think the price will be dropping much lower. This coin is not like all the others with 100K block rewards every minute. there's only been 7.5 million coins mined so far and I know mine wont see a sell order for a long time.

This coin will be similar to Devcoin in the way that it may take a bit longer to grow and gain in popularity but its ideas are not flawed and its potential is huge.

If I were you I'd start buying or mining now.

Well according to the "Magical Altcoin Formular" price is fair.

(Total BTC supply / Total Altcoin supply) / 5000 to 10000

with 5000 = 0.000014 BTC

with 10000 = 0.000007 BTC

take the average of both and we're at 0.0000105 BTC

SUBSIDY_FUNC is depreciated, it is likely not going to work with a coin using some kind of random rewards anyway - this would require creating random number generator in python that would mimic behavior of Mersenne Twister random generator used by client/wallet (seed and algorithm would have to be exactly the same).

The latest P2Pool code just uses bitcoind to calculate reward, instead of SUBSIDY_FUNC.

However, there are a few more changes required for P2Pool, mostly related to donation feature.
We are currently working on a EMC2 compatible P2Pool fork, PM us for more details
