First off: This is amazing! Thank you all for the hard work. Some noob questions then: Is this going to be you're own personal node or is it publicly accessible? If i understand correctly I have to migrate my wallet from my laptop to the mining rig, because that's running 24/7, my laptop is not.

If i understand correctly I have to migrate my wallet from my laptop to the mining rig, because that's running 24/7, my laptop is not. Wherever the p2pool runs there is a need of a running wallet - correct. Its no public node as long as port 41876 (worker-port) is not forwarded to your machine where this is running - If its not forwarded no miner can connect to your node (except yours internally :p ). The Port 41877 is needed for the health of the network - Because each ndoe would connect and distribute a found or stale share to the network and every node will be aware of this and generate new work items. To be axact: You dont have to migrate your main-wallet... there is just a need of "a" wallet. If you would like to mine directly into your main wallet just use one of the addresses as ur workername and you are good to go :-).

The current blockfinding rate is absolutely unbelievable.. every mpos pool is kicked out of league by this p2pool network. Thanks for adding more speed to it! ) Everyone else: Hop on ! This going to be fun as soon as the wormhole kicks in Check Page 1 for p2pools and p2pool scanner! we also gave that first page a little facelift - Feedback is welcome!

Yeah p2pool is underestimated by most and loved by guys with great hash power , which is sometimes bad for small miners as they can't solve enough shares to get paid But either way p2pools rock and should be trusted by more and more people

How to generate your own EMC2... address (For example: EMC2am3SCqr6XiAj1fKqe8bR84xz7W2JHa) 1. Download Vanitygen here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Vanitygen2. Extract it somewhere, open up your command prompt and navigate to the folder where you extracted the files 3. Use the generator you want (CPU version = vanitygen.exe or vanitygen64.exe for 64-bit systems) 4. Enter the following command: vanitygen64.exe -X 33 EMC2 5. You can do step 4 multiple times until you find an address you like or make changes like EMC2FTW (every number or letter you add increases the time it will take to find an address immensely) 6. Open up your Einsteinium wallet and go to Help > Debug > Console 7. In the console enter (without quotes!): importprivkey "your-private-key" "label-for-address" Note: You might have to restart the Einsteinium wallet to make your address visible. Important note because of security!:- Run this on a virus free machine that is not connected to a network - Write down your private key and store it somewhere SAFE, don't just put it in a text file on your desktop. You don't want your private key stolen, anyone with access to it can import(and use!) your new wallet address Enjoy!Example of my working address: http://cryptexplorer.com/address/EMC2am3SCqr6XiAj1fKqe8bR84xz7W2JHaBump for justice!

Question about p2p: I'm currently mining at einsteinium-eu.cloudapp.net:41876 (I'm from the Netherlands)
I have been mining for about 20 minutes, got about 80 shares (1 rejected) in my cudaminer, but the pool site says "no shares yet", is this normal?

yip .. p2pool isnothing for guys sitting in front of the pc waiting to let the coins flow in the wallet.... it needs time but it will definately payout. Lean back, relax and have a look at it in 3-6 hours :-).. okey?
