I  think old coin takes time to get be profitable in the market but it's depend on the project and the team who handle it. It will happen to the project if the developer will scam thier investor and gone like a bubbles. In this crypto world I learned how powerful the "be patience" in every project.

In my opinion it depends on the activity of the project, more old coins are not profitable because they are not active in dev and the community that supported them before, but not all old coins like that. Most are still profitable, but because of the current market situation, the coins are also in the lowest price and are difficult to get profits.

This crypto market situation is creating panic for investors & old coin price is falling with bitcoins because now market in downtrend, whenever market will recover than other tokens and old coins price will be increase but we need to wait for market correction, this is the matter of time  downtrend and uptrend is the part of trading, i hope market will recover in last months of this year like December 2017.

Agree. It doesn't mean that old coins will be no more profits to get but it will depends upon the demands of the coins even if it was too old. Most important thing also is the good development of the coins will keep its value stable long lasting. So dont lost your hope with your old coins hold because they will boost anytime as long as crypto still alive.

Agree. It doesn't mean that old coins will be no more profits to get but it will depends upon the demands of the coins even if it was too old. Most important thing also is the good development of the coins will keep its value stable long lasting. Probably OP is talking abouy shitcoins. Of course they will lose their value since the purpose of making them is not enough to thrive for market situations like this. Its a good thing that people learns on how to value a coin not by its present value by its futuristic one and uses. I saw many coins in the market gone because of poor management and no actual use of it or there is an alternative already that is more useful. Its good to invest on coins that proves their value over time specially if you are looking for something hodl.

They probably are stagnant, aren't improving their projects nor bringing forth great & viable ideas ... They are completely stuck with the old while the new projects are coming up with great ideas and attracting funding. This is why competition is a good thing. You have to modernizing and improving the old project or someone will come up with the ideas, steal your users and market position.  Do not be lazy please.

I don't think so that old coins are more profitable, but to my own perspective the old coins are still profitable i think we can use it but not all the time their selected that we can use old coins, and even its a old coins but we still earn from it because old coins are still very much profitable.

Old coins can be still profitable when there are numbers of investors that keep it on themselves and also waiting for good price. Projects that support with that coin has to be checked if still working because that is the way to know if the old coin still valuable and can work on the market. I do not keep old coin though so I do not have to think how the value can be to get good profit.

No its not true we can get profit from old coins and surely earn a lot from it, specially bitcoin. It is the oldest coin there is but we still earn from it. Its quite reliable investing in old coins

Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Old coins are still profitable but now isn't the time for them to pump. Long hold is good for old coins because they need many money, buy orders in order to increase the price.

It depends. Not all coins are profitable through time but there are coins or even dead coins that are revived and one day you will just be shocked seeing them in a very high price in the market. Some communities are pumping their coins if they want it to rise and some coins have uses in their platform and these kind is likely to be the one not losing its value as long as the platform is working.

i don't think so, with the old coins they are have a solid position and complete system, and they are still profitable. the price of them has reduced just a normal. i think now you just wait and look the marketcoin, they will comebeck and get more profitable.

Thats true, but older coins have better reputation - more people heard for them and then more people trade with them.
