Are old coins no more profitable

The first 2 years is very important for a new crypto currency. If a crypto currency can outrun this deadline, the next life can be healthier. I do not think it makes sense to make an old or new distinction.

Not all the old coins are profitable. Some of them have even gone extinct but there are few strong coins that are still surviving the market like LTC and they can prove to be profitable given the market situation. However, you cannot really judge a old coin's potential during a bearish market like this. So, you need to wait for it to get more stable.

An old coins with good working products, use cases and merchant partners are still profitable and it doesn't really matter how old the coin was as long as it is still continue developing new updates and technologies then the market will still able to pump slowly but surely.

look at their roadmap, see if the targets listed on their roadmap are reached or not
if not then it's shit coin it's better not to invest in that old coin

You can't really tell because there are also old cryptos that are also late bloomers. I have seen some cryptos in the market (as seen on their line graph) that burst after 3-5 years and even bitcoin took almost a decade before it reached 20,000$. If you think the crypto you are holding has really a future, then don't lose hope in it.

i think there are many old coin that has big profit, but it's not all old coin, I think that there are many too that have the bad value i think if you want to invest in old coin you should see first about the developer and the update from that coin, if there are many updates i think it will rise up and you will get the profit

Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

I think not many coin can claimed palce in 200 coin marketcap because todays project is not so good and just like crash which will scam us. But i know trx is big attraction coin which get a lot of interest and now its staying in very top coinmarketcap.

I don't think that old coins are not profitable because when the old coins price can increase, it will reach a higher rate and we can make a profit. but yes, it all depends on bitcoin price as for adjusting the old coin price and if bitcoin is stay in a lower price, then the old coins will follow in the low price too. maybe you can see that when dogecoin is at 29 satoshi and the price can jump to 35 satoshi, and you can imagine how much your profit especially if you can use big money to buy the dogecoin at the low price.

All can happen in the crypto market. Even though it's an old coin. It's just that we need a little pump, which can boost the price of coins.

Dead coins can be revive as well if there's a whale that's tripping and is just looking to have fun. I've seen that scenario somewhere last year and few hours after he pumped that coin, many FOMOed and bought that coin.

After few percentage of increase, he dumped the coin afterwards. As long as that coin is listed though its an old coin and there are buy orders that's going to boost its price.

Before looking to those type of coins, see to it that coin has really community behind it if its totally dead I don't advise to you to pursue it.

Every year we have a lot of new coin created and of course the coin has the advantage and is known to the public they will have the opportunity to sieve and they really bring a lot of value for us.

Litecoin still is profitable and this is considered to be one of the oldest in crypto. It is still profitable because of its price that keeps moving up still. Its only now that the price dips as everything did as well. A year later those new ones you see as new and are more advance token are going to be old too. it all depends on the developer of the company, if they are able to overcome the competition from the many new developers then their old coin will have the potential to increase prices later, but if they lose competing of course the old coin prices will not rise again, we can see every time there is always a new developer creating crypto currencies and they seem to be more mature than previous developers, so the conclusion depends on the developer of the coin / token

I think the project idea and fundamentals are more important than the age of the coin.  I would think the older coins would have a slight advantage as the scam worry should be fading as time goes on.

Most  of those well known coins pumped last quarter of 2017 then fell together with bitcoin after, though most of them really dumped and still coping with their current position but slowly taking some steps upwards while bitcoin also trying to rise back again, profitable indeed if you understand their progress and value for long term investment, patience and trust after studying the actual project.

The question you are asking depends on a lot of things. For example, NEO has been a profitable coin for a long time and it has survived the market despite the competitors of NEO being lost in the pages of history. However, the recent market situation have caused NEO to see a good dip on it's price. But, I still consider it profitable for the future.
