Not at all, I don't think so. The coin is profitable or not, not based on old or new coins, but all depends on the potential of the coin itself. If the coin is a good project and the quality is good too, then the more demand for the coin, and the good coin will survive.

For now I don't have old coins because I still learn more about a project that will produce a big profit in the future.

Well old does not really implies that they are not beneficial. On the off chance that the venture is live and running admirably, it they are making extensive walks in their specialty region, I trust any coin/token merits purchasing or holding until the point that it goes up. The best approach to make benefit is to purchase when the cost is low and offer when the cost is high. To my comprehension with the end goal for this to happen the undertaking ought to perform well in is territory.

Bitcoin and ethereum are as yet productive so not every old coin, just those coins that have no reason will wind up unbeneficial later on and in the end delisted from crypto trades. Bitcoin is the most seasoned one in the crypto advertise yet numerous new coins with better highlights are as yet endeavoring to overwhelm it however they are still miles from the cost of bitcoin and its market capitalization.

Its not about old or new coins I guess. Its all about new technology, updates, protocols, usage, trading volume, listed in any exchange etc etc and many more reasons. For example introduction of lightning network:-(A little brief of this)
The Lightning Network is dependent upon the underlying technology of the blockchain. By using real Bitcoin/blockchain transactions and using its native smart-contract scripting language, it is possible to create a secure network of participants which are able to transact at high volume and high speed.

things like these moreover signing up new contracts and usage in applications etc all add to the factor of any coin.So mere differentiating a coin on the basis of new or old will not be a good option. We have to take all these factors into account before making any decision.

There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley
I do not think old coins are no longer profitable.  As long as the developers and the team are actively updating their social media and their community this coins has a good future.  For me I will still hold coins which I think has a good potential in the future. Although it has a very low value for now but I did not lose hope that it will be boom someday.

our opinion is different, I disagree, until now old coin is still profit and promising, even though its movement is slow, what worries me is that a lot of new coins become ashes because the price does not reach the target due to dumpers and other factors.

so old coins are still the best, even though many new coins have potential

I think it depends upon the coin and it's developer. There ssome oldvoin that still not profitable the coin is no progress at all, it really spends upon the concept of the project. I think there are also some new coin tgat is also profitable than the old coin, that is why I believe that old Coin and new coin is almost the same the profit that we gain on it is really depends on how we used or understand it through trading or maybe investing etc.

Many times I saw that relatively new coins ranked in the top 100 at the coinmarketcap in the first months. But then the current units remained in the same place for a long time. It is relatively easy for new coins to increase capitalization in the first months. This may be due to the peak of popularity after ico.

Well just look at what Ripple XRP did in the last couple of weeks. The #3 coin on Coinmarketcap was able to double its value. And Doge had a huge pump recently as well... so even old coins in the top 100 still have room for huge gains.
If you ask me i tell you not to be bother by the recent pump the two mentioned coins gain because the pump won't last long and the pump was basic the act of the whales manipulation cause Doge never gain such pump in price ever dive last 2years while the news posted by ripple owner was the thing the influence ripple increase in price.

No. Old coins may be old as we say it but they still have value. Some have the potential of growing and rising into something big in the future. It's good to hold more Old coins in addition to the new coins.

The answer is not complete, I've invested in a project starting in 2016. And when I know it's close to mid-2017, I find it has products with tens of thousands of users, I Buy it at 900-1000 sat, and its current price is over 100 sat

depends it what you think about profit. if you want to get 100x in 1 year yes you're right.
but if you want to get 2-3x and you don't like risky decisions old coins are better option. i advice first you learn about how kind of person is you. then make a decision.

I don't care if the coin is old or new. If a strong team is working on the project, the coin will always be in price.

actually if you think about old or new coins it should be more valuable old coins. because if seen from the development their platform should be running and used by many people. those who are a few old coins don't have a good price because the project updates they can't maintain their community, so some of the communities leave and switch to new coins. actually new coins are also like that, if there is no hard work from tea to keep the price good, they will also lose prices on the market.

I think they are still profitable, just that it market and might not make it more pleasant to trade or invest. Also looking at the purpose and to project itself could talk a lot about it. To me I think many of the altcoins has it own  times and seasons which is quiet unpredictable. There are still some old coins that are even functioning much more than current ones.

Market is in the bearish mode since 10 months and  some of the new coins have easily made top 300 rank and some coins moved out of top 300 coins/token. But I have observed one project called biotron they are facing huge liquidity issues on liquid exchange by quiono but their team spirit is stronger and they are updating the community.

They are profitable, but there are two questions. First, how profitable are they? Secondly, which of them will be profitable?

Looks like most money is flowing either into the top coins or the  new coins and the mediocre category old coins are struggling to attract new investors and traders, i think this is natural, old coins need to come up with some solid new products or services to come into limelight again.

On the contrary, I only believe in old coins because I do not trust the new ones. I am sure that the market will recover and pull the growth of cryptocurrency. I really believe in it and look forward to growing.
