MN holders had their first vote session and this are the change that need to be noted:

in order to preserve DPC's network security as well as price development when block reward goes from 4 to 40 at block 20000, MN holders voted unanimously for collateral increase to 10000 DPC for MN's at block 26666. This was decided so there will be 6666 blocks of 40 DPC reward per block with 1000 DPC collateral in order for last MN holders to catch up with the new collateral. Remember to download and use the latest wallet. There might some change on the DPC ticker too as other coin have taken the ticker already.

For those that do not already know the ticker has been changed from DPC to DKPC. This was done because there was already a coin using DPC which was already listed on coinmarketcap. The coin which called itself Darkpeer was a coin from 2014 that is no longer being used or traded on exchanges anywhere but coinmarketcap still has the ticker DPC in use by them so it was decided by the development team that it is best to change now rather than having any issues later. I actually prefer the new ticker DKPC a lot more myself anyhow, the official announcement regarding this is in the discord channel if you would like to read more on it.

I doubt it is, it was never mentioned by the team + it would in complete opposition with DKPC philosophy of free market I guess

Indeed would be rather opposed to the idea of free market they want to introduce with DarkPayMarket at the end of the year.
Also non official info they're apparently working on a mobile version of the wallet which is cool

You mean the goal of the coin? Simply said it's gonna be a mean of payment and also a kind of voting token (counted per MN) to decide where the project will go, the recent result of this voting (between MN holders) is increased MN collateral from 1000 to 10000 to ensure network safety and price stability

Could you please let us all know how you plan on meeting security challenges such as hack attack or ddos? As I know this is the main problem of 21st century.

Hi,

As the number of online nodes grow we're less exposed to this kind of attacks.

The only "centralized" hosted apps are our website and the explorer, which experienced this kind of attack and defended successfully.
We have good Linux sysadmins with us who are used to manage high-load web exposed servers.

Moreover we're investing now in a more secure infrastructure with load balancers and redundancy.
