That's right, there's a slight delay because of the old ticker. At the moment the new wallet is being compiled (since quite a number of other old and abandoned projects used the same DPC ticker, it is decided to change the ticker to DKPC-- thus the wallet upgrade). It will be available to download on github soon.

DKPC is currently waiting to hear back from a well known exchange to finalize things with them and the discord community  has been swelling in size and continues to grow at an amazing pace over the last couple of days. I am expecting the community will reach 1000+ people over the next few days which is a fantastic achievement, so well done to everyone that has believed in DKPC and seen the potential of this project and thankyou for the continued support as we continue to expand and reach new heights and milestones.

It is quite an achievement, but with such huge increase in attention, more and more people are starting to ask for transparancy such as team wallet lists, and more personal info about the team. The ability to provide this will be a huge boost in public confidence regarding the project, or if it is possible, the project also get KYD verified as this will almost definitely keep potential new investors confidence in the project and the team for the most part.

It's block reward that increases to 40 DKPC at block 20K, not collateral. Collateral will increase at block 26666.

Since there's a security bug found in bitcoin core, will it also affect DarkPayCoin? Do we need another wallet upgrade?

no. DarkPayCoin core is not based on a version affected by CVE-2018-17144

With markets opening on crypto-bridge any day now DKPC is powering ahead on all fronts.
The discord is continuing to expand and is developing into a healthy and supportive community which is the true backbone of any coin.
With having just reached block 22437 it means there are only 4229 blocks remaining before the masternode collateral increase to 10000 from the current 1000 so also make sure you have updated your wallets before block 26666 to the latest version that is available in the github or you  won't be able to reach DKPC's blockchain anymore.
Another reminder too to those that have not yet participated in our bounty programs,this is your chance to earn some extra coins before listing is finalized, more information for these is available in our discord.

That's what interesting about the project, MN holders(people who invested financially and emotionally into the project) actually got some power to decide what's good for the project (what's recent is how the MN collateral changed decided by votes from MN owners), it is much different than those MN coins out there that just do presale and then nothing (where those buyers dumped their coins immediately).
