Well bitcoin are created for this. For almost 10 years, bitcoin has been trying to get out of the shadows. I don't know is it possible to remove the middlemen, but I hope it is, and this happens in the near future.

Bitcoin already eliminate middleman like banks and thats why banks hate bitcoin. Bitcoin will recover again and reach highest price again in next several months and many expert predicting bitcoin will reach $25k end this year.
