agree with you, 2019 investors will be more careful in choosing which project to invest. but there will always be bad ICO he will never lose no matter how. maybe I think pessimist but that's the fact. and in 2019 maybe the KYC / AML procedure has been applied to all Projects, I'm sure of that.

ICO will continue to come up with new innovations which certainly would be better. though of course ICO scam will also continue to exist also among it. learn from the experience of existing investors should certainly be better in choosing the ICO is at least to be able to avoid the scam so that the ICO really real and nice that they support.

Never expect ICOs to enjoy prosperity like the past year 2017. A lot of issues appeared because of those 1800 token in the market as users start to understand that we don't really need a variety of cryptocurrencies for mortgage and daily use. I expect regulators/authorities arround the world to come down hard on fraudulent ICOs for the rest of this year, because of many ICOs skirted existing regulation in order to raise equity, with no solid business to back up the offering.
I think the next step will not be ICOs but the hybrid blockchain which will make it easier for anybody to develop his own blockchain without headaches deploying ERC20 tokens in EVM. We will see what will happen next

The more ICOs, the more competition will occur. from 100% ICO maybe 20% is a very detrimental ICO SCAM. of the many ICOs, not all are successful, there will be a failure and the funds will be returned to the investor. My prediction of the ICO in 2019 will be increasingly stringent and more innovative. many new technologies will be developed. You must choose a good ICO carefully.

yeah 2018 is the worst year of cryopto, cause i saw many good ico was scam. ponzi, yeah investor are now more then smart cause they know what is the best project to invest.

If you open the website "coinmarketcap", you will see that now there are more than 1900 coins and tokens, and I believe that 90 to 95 percent of this fraud and developers did nothing for a long time, except that they spend money for investors. People are completely illiterate and are ready to give money to any project with a colorful website. This is the reality, we have to see this reality, don't blindly believe that ico can make our money 10X, 100X, this is over, now ico and even softcap are difficult to reach.

I participate in bounty companies for about a year and I think that during this time the ico has changed. They have become more serious and less scam, and investors have become smarter. This industry is developing and it's nice to see.

ICO's will come back when the market comes back.  Notice everything dealing with crypto is in the gutter.  Airdrops suck, bounties suck and mining sucks.  About the only place that doesn't suck right now is trading (assuming you have skills).  Everything else is dead right now.

Yes 2018 there are lots of scams that make us lose a lot and many people are afraid to invest.
I think this has something to do with 2017 because when that token is very popular and makes everyone want to invest so the criminals see this opportunity so that it makes a lot of ico scams to get a lot of profit.
But lately there have been many websites to detect an ico and this in my opinion is a very good step to improve what has happened because we have been able to choose which one to follow.

The ICO market is still very large with so many ICOs being produced daily, but over time our knowledge is expanding and improving, avoiding fraudulent ICOs is quite easy. I hope next year many ICO quality will be born and reduce the ICO scam.

Hard to make assumptions at this moment given that it is too early and also, change is not even occuring this year which would determine the possible outcome of cryptos this year that will highly affect the possible situation next year. For now focus on holding and being patient and wait for tables to be turned this year. But if nothing will be changed this year, I do expect huge comback next year.
