I agree with you. 2018 is not the time for ICO. I have seen a lot of ICOs collapsing due to investor insecurity and capital retention. This year the fraudulent ICO is everywhere. Investors have stopped investing in the ICO and they have chosen the big Altcoin or BTC.

For me, yes! Maybe ico still alive for 2019. But I don't think if there's a investor want to join again.  I'm pretty sure after they got nothing on 2018, do you think they want it to happen again for 2019? Nowadays more investor are waiting on exchange, because they know it will dumped below ico price.

I think ICO will continue to develop actively in 2019. If you look at the Coinmarketcap statistics , you can see several times increased  ICO activity. If earlier there were 2 - 3 new coins per day,  now 5 ICOs is the minimum.

The ICO market has still been huge in 2018, despite that which you mentioned - most ICOs have been failures, at least from an investment point of view. I think investors will only get smarter and in time there will be less scams due to smarter investors and stricter regulation.

IMO, ICO in 2019 will again grow and become famous as well as potential because current ICO is the only way for the project to promote and release the Token of the plan of the business. Therefore bounty, as well as social and content campaigns, will still be popular forms of promotion in 2019.

For correction, 2018 was good a year actually, because even we faced a couple of months in bearish, downfall market, it doesn't mean we experienced dooms in the market. well. I guess I beg to disagreed on that matter. It is actually a very good chance to all who are deep in crypto enthusiast or bitcoin users to take advantage while most of the alts are down, then hold them until next year 2019 will come before its too late for us to buy them when the market is up again.

It all depends on the market sentiment, if the whole market performs well, so ICOs will, but as long as all coins are losing their value, what we have seen in 2018, of course ICOs suffer too.
