I believe next will filled with genuine ICOs but we shouldn't expect much ICOs next year cause the US SEC were told by Ran Neu-Ner this year to do something about ICOs regulation which I believe may start next year and this is why next year will filled genuine ICOs.

What i think more of upcoming ICO's this 2019 is more fake personalities and illegitimate contracts. 2018 is not a great year for ICO i guess since there was no hype or only a few has it not like the past few years. Investors will be smart enough to distinguish what ICO to invest. Hopefull ICO would be better this coming years for more market innovation.

yes i agree to someone that said we need strict rules for ICO, to avoid and aliminate scam action in ICO. Because the majority of crypto enthusiast will agree that ICO has highest chance for scammer to earn profit from new comer investor. we have to eliminate this scam action as soon as we can, to make cryptocurrency far away from negative feedback among laypeople.
About how ICO will run in 2019 i think it depends on how good the project provided by developer, supported by large community and with good market situation. If market trend still shows red i think it will be difficult for ICO to reach hardcap, only a few ICO with genius idea will do.

I think for the ICO in 2019 it has begun rarely due to strict regulations in each country that are currently being drafted, so only ICOs are really addressing the big project that will exist and that we can see all

I also hope that the ICO will be forced by the government in accordance with the law so that it can prevent fraudulent ICO projects against fraudsters in order to appropriate assets of investors, In my opinion, the rules should be much more rigorous. So the market is cleaner and stronger.

ETF will be a significant factor in the year. ETF approval will bring a level of legality into crypto space which will increase the confident of institutional bodies to pump money and bring investment in the space. And as the end of the 2019 approaches toward the bitcoin fork, market volume will increase. It is believed at this time that if the whole coinmarketcap can double that will result in the tokens boost and altcoin will rally. More also, a better is seen among ICOs which will help in a better approach to project on fraud and corruption in the space.

those charts are nice example of whats going on with icos, its too much of them and all are collapsing when they hit the exchanges, we need to change something and harder regulate those icos, is there left icos who using escrows or not? it was good partice till 2016 maybe, after that i didnt saw that someone still using escrows and this is bad imho

I am pretty sure it will be alive, as such platforms as Kickstarter is live and doing pretty well.
ICO in 2019 should have more regulation and no that many scammers and those who do fake ICO's should be penalized with the law harshly.

There is no doubt that the ICO market is just developing. Now are coming regulations that will stabilize the market. It is a very good tool for new and already developed companies that are looking for investors for stronger development. Nothing will stop it. Now we can only look forward..

I think the market in 2019 will bounce back as soon as it started especially those top coins in the market and maybe there are some new coins that make the  top 10 list so the investors will have another choices to invest with.

I think that the 2019 ICO is getting harder, maybe it requires creative things or other ways to sell coins to be known and popular, the main factors that make the future of ICO difficult because there are too many scam projects so investors are afraid to put money in the ICO.

ico's doesnt depend on bitcoin or on the price of bitcoin because ico's are under the influence of eth , therfor we can trully say that ico's will only depend on the performance of eth .  if eth is doing good and its value will increase then we can also expect for a better success of an ico's .

ICO is not dependent on Bitcoin or Ethereum. ICO is a startup and cryptocurrencies are just tools to collect money - in other words - it is a modern type of crowdfounding. Regardless of what will happen to the cryptocurrency market, this form of collecting money for launching the project will develop.

The number of scam projects is certainly a factor that makes many ICOs fail to achieve softcap, this is what makes us have to immediately make a regulatory board so that it can regulate and control all ICO projects.

ICO investment have been interesting so far, we have seen the good,  the bad and the ugly.  Going forward however,  it will not be business as usual as many countries are looking for creative way to integrate ICO and regulate it!

Hype will always there but there will be more strict competition to attract the investors. A good marketing and reliable team will have needed by every investors to prove if they have been choosing the right ico.I am sure, 2019 will be better, because there is cryptocurrency which is a very interesting discourse for many.

In my opinion, in 2017 there were some very good ICOs that in the short term fave a huge profitability. Taking into account the incredible bear market we've passed during 2018, there are still some good ICOs that have hold above their initial price, but they're the less, not because the project or the team are bad, but because the market conditions.

We've almost passed already an entire bear market year, I don't think there is a reason why we couldn't see new profitable ICOs in the '19 when the sentiment improves.
