There are a lot of platforms that are already handling exchanges and as time goes by, there are more and more being produced and being created to handle these kinds of transactions. There are a lot of exchanges right now that uses their own token to complete transactions and these may have their own pro's and con's. We just need to be careful in entering exchanges because some of them might not be secure so we need to make sure before transacting that the exchange website is trusted.

The scheme is among the common ones that circulates not only for crypto exchanges but nearly for all other online services. Fake and phishing websites are continually being used to lure in victims to hand out their credentials unsuspectingly.

That is why among the simplest yet effective means of streering away from these fake websites is through bookmarks. Bookmarking sites might sound so simple, but it has been an effective means of easily figuring out whether the website address is different from that of what you received on your email.

Just a reminder to all of us, let us not forget that at times, the simple security measures can save us a lot of hassle and possible loss.

being careful that has become an absolute requirement for people to invest not only in crypto, investing in the real world like banks, gold properties and others require caution besides that we also need to expand our horizons because hackers are getting smarter, no matter how small the gap will enter and mess things up

For those of you traders, please be careful with fake exchanges, because I found a VERY SAME exchange that makes no difference at all like the exchange on EtherDelta, the fake exchange link that I saw I got from my Gmail inbox, which message it was contains about giving tokens like AIRDROP, and there I am given a registration form link and in the form there is a fake EtherDelta link, and this is the link http://EtherDelta.website, and this is the original EtherDelta link https://etherdelta.com/. There is no difference at all in the two exchanges, the images, features and others are exactly the same, so please be careful.

Secure your private key, secure your wallet, do not easily believe things that invite you to get rich instantly, do not easily trust advertisements, because crime is not just at one door, who knows there are many other fake exchanges, therefore be careful.
I am aware of this type of problem, for this reason I always add the the favorites the exchanges, the wallets etc and I open the links only in that way, never through Google or whatever other search engine.

Thanks for sharing fake exchanger link. Etherdelta hacked few months ago and from then many etherdelta users got hacked and lost their coins. You can use Idex now but don't use private key.
So that is the reason why etherdelta is not already good to use and now gone, forkdelta is now what I am using as of now but I never tried it since then because I still don't have a good token to exchange at this point. Hopefully, I can use it also one of these days.

there are many phishing website that will attack the investor and the bitcoin holder, so you should care because of this and I think to check twice with the link that you input to the browser, usually the phishing is targeted in exchanger and the ICO project website

Yeah we should be careful with the link given from unknown source as this could be a spam that will hack your account. Better to ask any exchanges link from those admin at there telegram channel or find there exchanges at the link from coinmarketcap as this are safe than those at the email.

Thank you for sharing a good piece of information.
Fake exchanges like this come up every time and some people get scammed, its really pathetic.
And also I have noticed that many times in different exchanges scammers/fraudsters pose as a staff or admin with same name and all and start scamming people. This is really a very old technique but still like the saying "OLD is GOLD",scammers prefer such things and generally newbie gets scammed and crypto is such a thing nothing can really be done or it will take very long time to recover.
I too had been a newbie did mistakes and still learning.

So stay safe and always invest what you can afford to loose.
Have a nice day all.

Etherdelta do already got a bad reputation before this hacking rumors came out . many people are complaining about etherdelta because of their poor services .

But im not one of them because im a die hard suporter of etherdelta .  until now , i didnt experience anything bad from their site .

i do also heard about fork delta which has been introduced lately by some users here but im already aware that both are owned by the same oweners due to their simillar domain names .

You need to trade on popular exchanges, or well-known. Exchange with coinmarketcap will be good. And do not look in the browser.

yes so many exchanges is hard and so many fake url is spreading and easy to get the user accounts or private keys , then trying to scam the people funds they disappear the exchange ,  so hard to trust because many times exchanges had been hacked , some phishing attacks also come from virus files send by other guys in the name of exchanges.

In order not to fall for the bait of those who create phishing sites you need to always add to the bookmark the real addresses of your exchanges and important sites.

Yes, of course this must be considered. Because if we lose our coin it is very detrimental, what else is exposed to fraud like this. So we must really guard and be aware of fraud.

Of course there should be caution against fake exchanges. Because, when the currency is imported into fake exchange, then those chances are likely to be hacked. So always have to check the exact URL of the exchange.

Probably all the same correct warning, at the present time you need to be very careful, and extremely react to everything, be careful with every action on the cryptocurrency market and in General in life, that would not be displayed in this area.
