In comparison with other projects that offer their own smart contracts for ICO, Ethereum still remains above all others. The main problem of reducing the popularity and cost of Ethereum remains the foggy future of the ICO itself. I think that all the developers and Vitaliy Buterin, including, will only please if Ethereum will hide from the general attention and the project team will have more time for further improvements to Ethereum. ICOs are selling their eth to stay afloat, many of them are struggling. This will lead to a further decline in Ethereum prices in my opinion. Could easily go down another 50% if the sell off continues. Better to wait before buying more eth, unless the sell off ends.

I will agree since this is the worst crashed ever of ethereum despite of the popularity rating , If we can recall the price last June which the price was reached closed to $700 then within a span of three months it was declined to less than $200 .

I don't think anyone can predict exactly the price of Ethereun now. It might go lower or may start the bull run from here. But all I know is better days are ahead.

Ethereum is indeed at a very low price but I have experienced more ups and downs since I am into cryptocurrency and I do believe it will go up again

This one of the largest drop we have have experienced in a while, with almost always cryptocurrencies dropping 70-80%.
We have had previous huge dips, as BTC has lost around 87% of its value and still recovered. So hopefully we would also recover from this dump.

It's hard to predict any specific reason behind ETH dump, one reason could be that I bought it 
I have a history of buying at wrong times, bought LTC and it dumped hard 

One reason is that bitmex opened the leverage trading on there platform for ETH, and in 1 month time only, it got dumped by more than 57%
Another reason which I think is that ETH is not making any technical advancements and still stuck to where they were six months back. No real performance improvement have costed them.

I remember how I bought first Ethereum at 160 usd more than a year ago. I think even price of 200 usd is very high level and it could go deeper. Maybe to 100 usd maybe even less than 100 - nobody knows this.

Recently we have seen the decline in the whole market, both on Ethereum. Especially Ethereum is experiencing very serious loss of value and is constantly looking for a bottom spot. I think that the main reason for this is the explanations of Vitalik Buterin in the founding partners of Ethereum. The entire market is dropping, not just Ethereum, sure Ethereum might have taken a BIG loss, but it's definitely nothing compared to what some other cryptocurrencies have experienced lately. Looking back in the timeline of Ethereum, it looks like there has been several times it has dropped more than 70% and then recovered, it's just a waiting game to see when it will happen again.

Well, it depends which cryptos are we talking about. Btc is now about 30% of ath, eos is 25%, monero is 22%, ltc is about 15%... Coins' prices differ a lot, as you can see. Not many of the good ones lost as much as ethereum did. Some lost more, some lost less. But its price does look extremely terrible. I realy believed it can't be worth less than $300. The market is bleding and people keep pushing their funds it btc, which is not very helpful anyway. We have to wait this time out, I am sure the market will regulate itself and make the prices more reasonable than they are now.

Bubble burst already (joke) but Vitalik already say some words about even on his own project.No more 1000x multipliers if I were to ask if I would buy ETH then I would wait up for this year for the most possible bottom price.We might see $100 ETH once again but no one really knows since words can really be just fuds or just a strategy, no on really knows. Not only ETH do suffer dump but all coins in the market as of now.
