30 second block times...won't this coin be fork city?

MINT and ZEIT had 30 second block times and they were fine as long as the devs put in the right checkpoints we will be fine

Given the numbers of users who already registered at our pool.. yes it probably is. And not for KGW, Dev clarified coin won't start with KGW.

Indeed, when your solo mining you are connecting to your local network.  I would warn however, that given the amazing numbers of pre-registrations we have already received, you would likely need a great deal of hash power to successfully solo-mine this launch.

Of coarse, with huge blocks like these, a lucky block is always possible and would be a wonderful find Cheesy

I'm counting on you guys to get up and running quickly!

Count on us, everything is ready already and doublechecked, we only need the wallet and push the button! 2.10 AM here, brb coffe break!

Let me suggest to setup your workers before launch, it really help in case frontend results a little laggy. We will assign full server resources to shares counting and wallet, that's the most important thing.

Give a configuration for solo mining(not wallet) for those of us who want to mine for first few minutes at launch...then Pool later.

Yes, make a conf file for the wallet e.g.:

Code:
gen=0
genproclimit=-1
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=walt
rpcpassword=w
rpcport=39547
addnode=54.213.143.65

Make a shortcut to the wallet-qt .exe and in the shortcut properties add the -server flag e.g.:

Code:
"C:\Wallets\HeisenbergHex\HeisenbergHex-qt.exe" -server

Start the wallet using the shortcut and start cgminer, pointing the output to your localhost RPC address instead of a stratum server:

Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:39547 -u walt -p w

Risk is a guy with a big hashrate and fast connection/ low ping monopolize first hundreds block.. it often happens in such a case.
But you can easily set up a .conf and a .bat for solomining now, then wait for the wallet and try your luck!
